Cargo of Death - The Ourang Medan Ghost Ship of Indonesia

The story of the SS Ourang Medan is something of a legend which may be fact. The ship itself may or may not have existed. The horrible end that it may or may not have come to is one of the most chilling ghost ship stories ever told. It is also a very mysterious story. Not only is the described event very mysterious, but the existence of the ship itself is a mystery. This may seem like an old fashioned ghost ship tale,

but the events described reportedly happened only a little over half a century ago. The following is the story of the SS Ourang Medan. It could be real, it could be fiction, it could be exaggerated or it could have been the work of aliens.

The SS Ourang was in the Pacific Ocean off of the coast of Indonesia when it sent out a series of extremely disturbing distress calls. These distress calls were supposedly picked up by several ships in the area, including the American vessels, Silver Star and the City of Baltimore.
