Cryptozoology-Flower found in Vietnam

The ornamental apricot tree of Mr Dinh Tho in Da Nang City is now in bloom. The strange thing is that all the flowers on the tree have more than 100 petals, while other apricot flowers have 6-9 petals only.

Mr Tho said that this is a ha hong diep – a kind of apricot. The tree has been flowering for three years, and the flowers have 90-100 petals, and sometimes they have 120 petals.



The tree-trunk of the apricot tree looks normal, like other apricot trees in Mr Tho’s garden, which consists of 60 trees. All the apricot flowers in his garden are big and consist of many petals, making them look like daisies.

Vo Van Tien, former director of the city department of agriculture and rural development, also said that he had never seen flowers with as many petals as Mr Tho’s. He said that every apricot flower just has 6-7 or nine petals at maximum.
