Siblings Can See When Eyes Close

BUTTERWORTH: Qiu Jiecong, 10 (Standard 4), and Qiu PeiJin, 8 (Standard 2), have an extraordinary ability. They can "see" things blindfolded or with their eyes shut. The two siblings even claim that learning is easier when they study with their eyes covered.

Qiu Jiecong said it was far easier to study and do his homework with his eyes closed. His memory is also significantly improved.

"It's like there's another pair of eyes on my forehead. Sometimes, during a school test, I'll secretly close my eyes. I can finish a maths test more easily and quickly with my eyes shut than open."

They learned this amazing ability after taking part in an 11-hour long "Accelerated Memory Course" last year.

A local secondary school teacher developed the course after conducting 20 years of research. The course emphasises building up a child's concentration, attention and confidence. This stimulates the mind, increasing its power and unlocking its hidden potential. So long as a child can stay 100% focused, he or she can actually "see" using brainwaves.
