The following is a link to a news report in Singapore about a Getai (A concert staged during the Hungry Ghost Festival) singer whose clothes caught on fire while she was on stage performing.
Although it was said that the fire was "planned for", one cannot help but feel that the stigma of this current Hungry Ghost month might had something to do with it.
Perhaps the "audience" were not satisfied with her performance?
