1.Balete Drive
Balete Drive is a street located in New Manila, Quezon City known for apparitions of a white lady and haunted houses which were built during the Spanish Era (1800s). New Manila has an abundance of balete trees, which, according to legend, is a time honored favorite resting spot of wandering spirits and other otherworldly paranormal beings. Many believe Aswangs and their evil spooky paranormal pets live in these haunted trees, roosting and waiting for their next victim to draw near.
Paranormal experts believe that the white lady multo (ghost) was a poor woman who was brutally raped by Japanese soldiers during the Second World War, her corpse many say was not buried properly it was thrown on the side of the road and stayed there for many years, only to be carried away by birds, rats and other creatures over time piece by piece. Some of her hair and bones are still perched high in branches as part of their nests or buried in rat holes in the ground under the trees and the street street. And this tale which is supposedly told by locals as 100% truth differs from the movie version. Her skull many say or her face which was cut away by a machete or bayonet blade was taken as his personal souvenir. Many believe she searches for the man or his descendents to exact her evil revenge upon them. Or as many believe today upon those that mock her existence.

Reliable ways on how to Kill Monsters in the Philippines (Aswang)
There are many different real stories that happens in the Philippines in dealing with different ghouls and monsters. Killing these monsters are very difficult, one is they always escape very fast, second they real leave traces behind and third they leave the town where they live if they are failed with their target victim.
But there are many ways to let them get far from you are or save you from any possible attacks.
Fear of the aswang leads many to seek means of warding them off. Rural folk believe that burnt animal horns drive away aswang; that a sharpened bamboo called bagacay protects a sick person from the aswang's attentions. Aswang are also afraid of bullets, bolos, feathers and canes frighten them; and that ever-trusted garlic hung on doors and windows or hung as necklaces and crucifix kill the aswang.
Common sightings if there is an aswang or any monster that attacks, they always disguised as a huge bat and you can hear them they usually circling around the house of their target looking for a hole. In the Philippines people who are leaving in the remote areas their houses are just small nipa hutts and since there is no electricity in the village it is very easy for these monsters to crawl the roof tops and throw their sharped tongue, which is as thin as a niddle towards their victim.

Elephant gores man to death in India
A wild elephant gored a man to death and injured several other people during a five-hour rampage through Mysore in southern India after farmers chased it from a field outside the city.
Residents scattered as the young male charged through the city streets attacking vehicles on Wednesday. It turned on the victim in a doorway in an alleyway and gored him as residents looked on.
The elephant later charged towards people who took cover on top of a staircase, and lunged at a car on a main street.
Several people were injured during the five hours it took to tranquilise the animal, officials said.

Ghost Appears In News Video of Car Accident
A Chilean news station showed pictures of a tragic car crash that occurred on Router A-16. Known as “The Cursed Road” by locals, the images of the crash showed something peculiar. In one of the images, the photographer claims to have captured the image of one of the deceased. Friends of the deceased agree with the photographer’s assumption stating that the translucent apparition appears to be wearing the same type of clothing their dead friend wore.
Below is a short translation by Javier
Newscaster: “The following is one of those stories that can turn into a legend. There’s a truck driver who is sure that he has captured the spirit of a man who perished a few minutes before in an automotive crash.”
Reporter: “The images of a spirit observing his own cadaver. Simply chilling. This is what we can see in this photograph encircled in red. Captured on July 19, 2008 by a truck driver only 20 minutes after an accident on Route A-16, known to the Chileans as “The Cursed Road”. In the accident, Fernando Guerrero Tapia 50 years of age and Alberto Galligillos Morardes 43. These are the images of the fatal crash.
The Spirit would be of Fernando Guerrero Tapia. According to his friends, the translucent silhouette appears to be dressed the same as Fernando Tapia did when he perished

Mysterious Structure Discovered on Mars
According to this video, David Martines was looking around Google Mars when he happened to find a large building-like structure in the northern hemisphere of the planet. He calls it "Bio-Station Alpha," which of course is not its real name, but he assumes someone or something is living in it. Martines estimates that the white structure is over 700 feet long and 150 feet wide. It can be found at the following coordinates on Google Mars: 71 49'19.73"N 29 33'06.53"W

Seeing Things On Mars: A History of Martian Illusions
by Natalie Wolchover, Life's Little Mysteries Staff Writer
Humans have been seeing strange things on the surface of Mars for centuries. From the 1700s up through the present day, widespread fame has been available to anyone able to produce even the slightest bit of flimsy evidence that there's Martian life.
The most recent example was this week's supposed revelation that a secret Mars base, inhabited either by humans or Martians, can be seen in a photo of the Red Planet's surface taken by an orbiting spacecraft.
But scientific rigor has always stepped in to prove that these objects are not really there. In this vast and lonely universe, are Earthlings just desperate for next-door neighbors to play with? Looking back over the long history of Martian illusions (and human delusions), it certainly seems so.
1. Land and sea
In 1784, Sir William Herschel, a famous British astronomer, wrote that dark areas on Mars were oceans and lighter areas were land. He speculated that Mars was inhabited by intelligent beings who "probably enjoy a situation similar to our own." Herschel's theory prevailed for a century, with other astronomers claiming that vegetation could even be observed in the lighter-colored regions taken to be land. Fortunately for Herschel, his other contributions to astronomy — which earned him the honor of being the namesake of two powerful observatories — were great enough to keep his theories on Martians near the bottom of his biography.
2. Canali vs. canals
During Mars' close approach to Earth in 1877, the Italian astronomer Giovanni Schiaparelli peered through his telescope and observed grooves or channels on the Red Planet's surface. The Italian word he used for them, "canali," was translated to "canals" in English, leading many in the English-speaking world to conclude that Mars had intelligent life that had built a system of waterways.
That misconception was popularized by an astronomer named Percival Lowell, who in 1895 presented drawings of the canals in a book, titled "Mars," and argued his full theory in a second book, "Mars as the Abode of Life," in 1908. The inaccuracy was further fueled, historians say, by excitement over the construction of the Suez Canal, an engineering marvel of the era completed in 1869.
The theory was debunked in the early twentieth century, when it was demonstrated that the "canals" were merely optical illusions: when viewed through poor-quality telescopes, pointlike features, such as Mars' mountains and craters, appear to be joined together by straight lines. Later, spectroscopic analysis of the light coming from Mars showed that there was no water on its surface.
3. ET radio
In 1921, Guglielmo Marconi, inventor of the first radio telegraph system, claimed to hear signals that he thought might be Martian. The next year and again in 1924, at times when Mars swung relatively close to Earth, the U.S. government asked all radio stations to go silent so that they could listen out for any Martian transmissions coming our way.
But ET radio was silent.
4. The face
It all started back in 1976, when NASA released an image of an interesting mountain on Mars, taken by the Viking 1 spacecraft, complete with a caption that described the formation as appearing to have eyes and nostrils. More than thirty years later, the "Face on Mars" still inspires myths and conspiracy theories, with many people believing it to be an artificial structure built by an ancient Martian civilization.
From a bird's-eye view, shadows on the mountain really do make it look like a face. From other angles, however — angles seen in photos taken by the Mars Express Orbiter, among other spacecraft — the mountain is clearly just that, and doesn't look much like a face at all.
"Pareidolia" is the scientific term for seeing faces (or other significant objects) where they aren't. Face pareidolia happens, scientists say, as a byproduct of our heightened sensitivity to the details of human faces. Takeo Watanabe of the Boston University Visual Sciences Laboratory put it this way: "We've over-learned human faces so we see them where they aren't."
5. Martian person
In a photo snapped by the Mars rover Spirit in 2007, there appears to be a human being wearing a robe and kneeling in prayer. It is, of course, a rock, and merely morphs into human form in our brains because of pareidolia, as explained above.
6. Bio Station Alpha
This week, yet another smidgen of evidence arose that, on first examination, seemed to support the notion that there's life on Mars. In a viral Youtube video, a self-described "armchair astronaut" claimed to have identified a human (or alien) base on Mars, which he dubbed Bio Station Alpha. He found a somewhat mysterious linear structure that appears to be on the Red Planet's surface as seen in Google Mars, a new map program created from compiled satellite images of the planet.
Astronomers immediately identified the structure — in actuality just a white, pixelated streak — as an artifact deposited by a cosmic ray in the image sensor of the camera that snapped the photo. "With space images that are taken outside our magnetosphere, such as those taken by orbiting telescopes, it's very common to see these cosmic ray hits," said Alfred McEwen, a planetary geologist at the Lunar and Planetary Lab at the University of Arizona and the director of the Planetary Imaging Research Laboratory.
Cosmic rays are energetic particles emitted by the sun. They deposit electric charge in camera pixels as they penetrate them, momentarily saturating them and creating a white streak in any photo snapped at the time.
When the raw image file was converted to a JPEG for use in Google Mars, McEwen said compression probably caused the cosmic ray artifact to become more rectangular and "Bio Station"-like. This was subsequently proven to be the case, when the original source photo that Google used was identified. It contained an obvious cosmic ray artifact, which, when processed, turned into the structure that the "armchair astronaut" mistook for a Mars base.

Florida's Fountain of Youth
According to tradition, the natives of Hispaniola, Puerto Rico and Cuba told the early Spanish explorers that in Bimini (Beniny), a land to the north, there was a river, spring or fountain where waters had such miraculous curative powers that any old person who bathed in them would regain his youth. About the time of Columbus's first voyage, says the legend, an Arawak chief named Sequene, inspired by the fable of the curative waters, had migrated from Cuba to southern Florida. It seems that other parties of islanders had made attempts to find Bimini, which was generally described as being in the region of the Bahamas.
Juan Ponce de Leon (1460-1521), who had been with Columbus on his second voyage in 1493 and who had later conquered and become governor of Puerto Rico, is supposed to have learned of the fable from the Indians. The fable was not new, and probably Pence de Leon was vaguely cognizant of the fact that such waters had been mentioned by medieval writers, and that Alexander the Great had searched for such waters in eastern Asia. A similar legend was known to the Polynesians, whose tradition located the fountain of perpetual youth in Hawaii.
As described to the Spanish, Bimini not only contained a spring of perpetual youth but teemed with gold and all sorts of riches. The fact that the party of Arawaks who had gone in that direction had never returned was taken as evidence that they must have found the happy land!

Bangungot: Nightmares
by M. L. Tan
The stories are familiar -- a relative or a friend, usually a male, dies suddenly in his sleep, without any history of illness. Relatives or companions in the house will recall hearing the victim moan that fateful night, and friends will nod their heads as they agree on a postmortem diagnosis: bangungot.
This nightmare syndrome is also found in other cultures, dubbed lai tai by the Thais and tsob tsuang by the Hmong of Vietnam. The Tagalog term bangungot is derived from bangon (to rise) and ungol (to moan). In daily colloquial use, bangungot often refers to nightmares in general, and do not necessarily end fatally; nevertheless, there is a real fear that the nightmare might become more dangerous and deadly.
These nightmare deaths have caught the attention of medical researchers. There was a report on bangungot in a local medical journal as early as 1917. In the 1950s, sudden deaths among Filipino sailors in the US Navy led to more reports in American medical journals. In the late 1970s, the Americans coined the term Sudden Unexplained Noctural Death (SUND) to describe mysterious deaths among Southeast Asian refugees, mainly from the Hmong of Vietnam. In 1990, a series of articles appeared in the British journal, The Lancet, reporting on such deaths among Thai construction workers in Singapore. Through the years, there have been other sporadic reports in the journals of deaths among Cambodian and Lao men in north America as well as refugee camps in Thailand.
Filipinos attribute bangungot to going to bed right after a very full meal. The medical researchers have their own crop of theories. The earliest investigations, based on autopsies of Filipino victims, suggested pancreatitis as the cause of death, with speculation that our high salt diet of bagoong and patis. In the 1980s, doctors at the University of the East proposed the victims had coongenital problems in their heart's anatomical structure. The deaths among Thai workers in Singapore led researchers to zero in once again on dietary factors, with suggestions that the problem was associated with nutritional deficiencies - some suggested thiamine, others potassium.
These diverse explanations underscore the need to expand our perspectives on illnesses. Problems like bangungot - as well as many other health problems -- cannot be explained as having just one cause.

A civilisation as old as Indus valley?
Did the coastline of the Konkan, from Shrivardhan in Raigad to Vengurla in Sindhudurg, have human habitation around 8,000 years ago? Did that population have well-developed engineering skills? Was there a unique Konkan culture in existence in 6,000BC? The latest discovery in the field of archaeology, below the sea waters of Konkan coast, could answer these questions with a big resounding‘Yes!’
In what could turn out to be a major discovery, researchers have found a wall-like structure, which is 24km long, 2.7m in height, and around 2.5m in width. The structure shows uniformity in construction. “The structure is not continuous from Shrivardhan to Raigad, but it is uniform. It has been found 3m below the present sea level. Considering the uniformity of the structure, it is obvious that the structure is man-made,” said Dr Ashok Marathe, department of archaeology, Deccan College Postgraduate and Research Institute, Pune.
This joint expedition carried out by Deccan College, Pune and Department of Science and Technology, Central Government, has been in progress since 2005. “We were actually studying the impacts of tsunami and earthquake on western coast when we first found this structure in Valneshwar,” said Marathe.

Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee Death Curse
Brandon Lee, son of the famed martial arts star, Bruce Lee, was shot and killed during the making of his breakout film, “The Crow.” Although his death was deemed “accidental,” many other speculations have arisen. What if his death was not an accident, but murder? There were many similarities between both Bruce and Brandon Lee’s death, leaving open the possibility of conspiracy. Two major theories lend hand to the thought of foul play.
The Chinese Mafia theory and the Triads theory hold credence through evidence and their links to Bruce and Brandon. Other theories have been considered and prove possible as well. Too many “coincidences” occurred on set and during the investigation, to state that his death was an accident. With all the evidence collected from both deaths, the possibility that both were merely fatal accidents, can be ruled out, and replaced with the fact that they were meticulously planned murders.
Bruce Lee, martial arts star, is pronounced dead on July 20th, 1973. He is rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital but is dead before arrival. All the details of his death remain unclear and somewhat covered up. Lee and film producer, Raymond Chow, met at Lee’s home to discuss the making of Lee’s film, “Game of Death.” They worked for about two hours before heading to Betty Tingpei’s (lead actress in the film) house. The three went over the script and soon after, Chow left. Lee began to complain of a headache and Tingpei gave him a tablet of Equagesuc (a super aspirin), which was prescribed for her.
Around 9:00pm Chow called Tingpei’s to ask why she and Lee never showed up for dinner as planned. Tingpei told Chow that she could not wake Lee. He could not be revived and later died of, what doctors concluded as, an edema (swelling of the brain). Why hadn’t Tingpei woken Lee earlier to meet for dinner as planned? And if she tried to, and she could not, why did she not immediately phone the police? Most of all, why would she give Lee something not prescribed for him? These questions and many others make Bruce Lee’s death look less like an accident and more like murder.

Time Travelers
Time travel is the concept of moving between different points in time in a manner analogous to moving between different points in space, either sending objects (or in some cases just information) backwards in time to some moment before the present, or sending objects forward from the present to the future without the need to experience the intervening period (at least not at the normal rate).
Although time travel has been a common plot device in fiction since the 19th century, and one-way travel into the future is arguably possible given the phenomenon of time dilation based on velocity in the theory of special relativity (exemplified by the twin paradox), as well as gravitational time dilation in the theory of general relativity, it is currently unknown whether the laws of physics would allow backwards time travel.
Any technological device, whether fictional or hypothetical, that is used to achieve time travel is commonly known as a time machine.
Some interpretations of time travel also suggest that an attempt to travel backwards in time might take one to a parallel universe whose history would begin to diverge from the traveler's original history after the moment the traveler arrived in the past. Time travel has been a common plot device in fiction since the 19th century, and one-way travel into the future is arguably possible given the phenomenon of time dilation based on velocity in the theory of special relativity (exemplified by the twin paradox), as well as gravitational time dilation in the theory of general relativity, it is currently unknown whether the laws of physics would allow backwards time travel. These events, often called time slippages, seem to occur randomly and spontaneously. Those who experience these events are often bewildered and confused by what they see and hear, and afterward are at a complete loss to explain them. And also a few stories from those who claimed that they are the real time travelers.
Any technological device, whether fictional or hypothetical, that is used to achieve time travel is commonly known as a time machine and a time traveler (American spelling) or time traveller (British spelling), sometimes known as a "chrononaut", is a person who engages in time travel.

Is Ngee Ann City haunted?
Orchard Road/Patterson Road junction area used to be a huge Teochew cemetery called Tai Shan Ting. It is owned by the Ngee Ann Kongsi. Ngee Ann City, one of the biggest developments in Orchard is owned by the Kongsi. The Kongsi is a charitable organisation with it’s headquarters in Teochew Building at Tank Road. Wisma Atria, Ngee Ann City, Meritus Mandarin, Cathay Cineliesure Orchard stands on the site of the cemetery. An interesting fact about Orchard Road that not many people know of is an existance of a river beside Orchard Road.
The Stamford Canal, converted from a river, runs beside Orchard Road, in front of many buildings on the south side of Orchard Road, all the way from the Tanglin Road side, and out to sea at Esplanade. In the 1960s, the canal was widened and deepened to relieve flooding. The canal is covered up and is now the Orchard Road Pedestrian Mall, the super wide ‘footpath’! It crosses behind Phoenix Hotel, snakes over behind Le Meredien, in front of Istana and Plaza Singapura and between the two buildings of Atrium@Orchard and briefly emerges behind MacDonald House… ”
From what i heard, Ngee Ann Kongsi also owns Ngee Ann Poly. The place where NP situates currently, was a cemetary. This cemetary was removed and NP was built on it. But after NP was built, the old Ngee Ann city did not make money. The enterprise was loosing money despite it is situated at Orchard road. Hence Ngee Ann Kongsi went to look for Feng Shui master for help. The master claimed that he built NP ontop of the cemetary.
The removal of cemetary disturbs the ghost and hence they made him loose money. The remedy was to demolish the old Ngee Ann City and then rebuild a new one. The new one must be built in a tomb looking shape to “ji4 nian4″ (english poor) the disturbed ghost. So, if you look at the current Ngee Ann City, you will find that it looks like an old chinese traditional tomb. With 2 stone lions as Tower A and B, and the window where you look out of Coffee Club Express, is where the photos and carvings is. And also there are 5 flag poles that represent joss sticks. Infront of the flag pole is a fountain which represents wine. After it was built this way, Ngee Ann City is making money until now, its so popular. How true is it? I dunno. What are your views?”
The present location of the Ngee Ann City in Orchard Road was formerly a Teochew graveyard. If one were to stand in front of Paragon & look across, one will notice that the whole structure of the Ngee Ann City resemble a typical Teochew tombstone.
Most of the staffs working in that building have experienced weird & unexplainable incidents in the toilets, especially the B1, 1 & 2 toilets………….
It was a Saturday nite at around 10pm. All the shops have closed & I was hunting around for a toilet. I remember it was the level 1 toilet. The lights were partially off & those that were on were shining on the sinks & the first cubicle. I took the first cubicle, nothing happened until I was out. I was infront of the mirrors washing my hands when one of the last few cubicle was flushing. At that instance, I sensed a slight chill & goose pimples were slowly surfacing, for what reasons, I can’t explained.
I wanted to stay on to find out what was in there but my instinct tells me not to meddle with it. Calmly, I walked out of the toilet. I still remember the feeling of fear when the flush went off that night.
My sister related this incident to me about a toilet located at the 17th level (not sure but it`s the top-level of the bldg) of the office premise at Ngee Ann City. During the school holidays, two of her friend were doing survey for a company there and they happened to come across this strange toilet. She said that her friends did not mention much about the toilet except that it was very eerie and strange.
Years later, I visited a company along Science Park drive. I was waiting at the reception area. There were 2 CISCO security guard and a lady stationed at the reception counter. I overheard their conversation. One of the security guard was chatting about his strange encounter with this toilet located at the 17th level of Ngee Ann City when he was stationed there. He did not reveal much but he said that the toilet there was an area of most frequent supernatural happenings with the staff at that level. At this moment, I was perturbed and there was a chill right from my head down my spine. What my sister told me and from whatI heard about the security guard`s encounter were no mere coincidence about that strange toilet.

Karma Scientifically Proven
It seems the ancient practice of Karma, or doing good to others and finding good in your own life may have some scientific backing now as scientists uncover the ancient teachings of Karma and how they can actually cause real changes in peoples' lives for the better.
Karma, it would seem, has been validated scientifically. But how will the study take the next step? Will kindness technology tell us the most efficient way to get the most out of doing good for others?
Karma is a practice that involves doing good for others and receiving positive "energy" in return. Some interpretations of this philosophy suggest karma will result in good things happening by chance out of each act of kindness performed, while others suggest it is a spiritual progression that doesn't manifest until after death when the spirit is reincarnated as something else.
And so after that Karma is a means of assessing how well a life was lived. The experiment was designed to look into this concept and attempt to assess whether participants were living with good Karma and what would change when they increased their Karma. What they found was astounding.

August 11th, 2011 Tsunami Prediction
My name is Jay Essex. Have you ever wondered where prophecies come from and why so many are wrong? Some of them are made up by people wanting attention. There are those with gifts who receive message from Souls or Spirit on The Other Side, Heaven, or what ever title you prefer. There's also a thing called The Akashic Records there. It's a living set of documents containing everything that has, is, and will happen and be said on this planet. There's also one for the Universe but that's for another article.
With this information available, why are so many prophecies still incorrect either partially or completely? It's the same thing with individual divination. These blessed people, helping others at little expense, receive their information from Spirit Guides, other Souls back home, or sometimes even Angels. Very rarely, almost never, is prophecy direct from Mother or Father Creator. This is where the accuracy issues often come from.
As many of you are becoming aware, reincarnation is simply a fact. All of you have to write your life plan with your Spirit Guide while on the other side and have it approved by the Council and finally Mother Creator, who is the feminine aspect of The One Creator, God, Source, or which ever name you prefer. Once Mother approves it you're in a baby waiting to be born.

Ghosts and Science: Friend or Foe?
Science is in many ways a wonderful thing, but in still others it is one of the most tyrannical and often quoted elements of modern society. And if history has taught us one thing about tyrants, it is that they inevitably share their rebellion as well.
To those who have long believed in the power of science this may seem unnecessary, but to others it is at the core of a very fundamental difference between those who believe exclusively in the scientific and those who seek more spiritual answers for some problems. And nowhere is this conflict more apparent than in the study and categorization of ghosts.
Ghosts are to us a simple - if not frightening prospect. As we look at the periphery of normal human experience we find these phantasmal figures lurking just out of our reach. And yet the mainstream of science has a firm stance on the existence of ghosts - one of disbelief.
But if we look into the matter further we find anecdotal evidence as far as the eye can see suggesting quite the opposite. As scientists are interested always in unraveling mysteries it is always a point of question why they cannot (and indeed often refuse)to give us answers in this regard. There are canned answers, and general responses as to why ghosts can or cannot exist, but that is there the argument often simply dies with no explanation.

Pondering Death Can Alter Behavior
In what may seem an obvious finding to many, how one thinks about death can affect behavior in life, a new study finds.
"Death is a very powerful motivation," said Laura E.R. Blackie, a Ph.D. student at the University of Essex in Britain. "People seem aware that their life is limited. That can be one of the best gifts that we have in life, motivating us to embrace life and embrace goals that are important to us."
Blackie and her advisor, Philip J. Cozzolino, recruited 90 people in a British town center and asked separated them into three groups. One group was asked to respond to general questions about death – such as their thoughts and feelings about death and what they think happens to them if they die. The other was asked to imagine dying in an apartment fire and then asked four questions about how they thought they would deal with the experience and how they thought their family would react. A control group thought about dental pain.

Who Or What Are The Shadow People?
By: Jeffry R. Palmer
Shadow People, also known as Shadow Folk, or Shadow Beings, are usually attracted to one person or location for unknown reasons. Often they are seen as dark silhouettes of human-shape, generally male, that prefer to watch someone unseen and flee the moment they are noticed. Still this doesn't always fit the experience. While some people distinctly see a shadowy human form others have dexcribed shapeless wispy black blobs and swirling columns of dark smoke.
The personalities or characteristics of shadow people range greatly from shy and skittish to downright nasty and malevelent, with a few witnesses describing them as the ultimate essence of pure evil. Accounts of shadow people have been reported all over the world. There has been an increase of reported sightings of these creatures within the last five to ten years, though there is anectdotal evidence of these creatures appearing before human witnesses through out our history.

Malayan House Comes 'Alive' at Night
Many flock to Jalan Bellamy for the Ikan Bakar while others may recognise the road as home to one of the country’s oldest international school, Alice Smith.
The road has not changed much since the country’s pre-independence days and remains a quiet path that most city dwellers do not use.
With old government quarters hidden by the large trees on the road, the aroma of fish being grilled waft out from Gerai Seri Menanti and Seri Melaka while the chatter and laughter of children from the Alice Smith school livens up the atmosphere.
Rosemary Alder Duckworth who lived at 5, Jalan Bellamy from 1947 to 1949 remembers the days when housing was scarce in post-war Malaya and when most houses on the street housed two or more families.
“A few families would share a home and we were very surprised to find house No 5 empty.
“We moved in but for the next two-and-half years, we had a lot of problems, especially with servants who would just disappear in the night without even collecting their pay,” said Duckworth.
She had come to Malaya with her family when her father, Frederick Victor Duckworth, was appointed the last British adviser of Selangor.
The family managed to trace a few of their former workers and they recounted tales of paranormal activities that took place in the servants quarters and kitchen.
“We then realised that the house was not snapped up because it was considered haunted. Many of the servants told us that they would be jolted awake from sleep and see blinding lights circling on top of them. Some said they even saw vegetables flying around the kitchen,'' said Duckworth.
She had the chance to speak to the Richardson family who had lived in the house before the war and they confirmed the unusual sightings in the house.
“Corinne Richardson was one of those who lived in the house and she related an incident that took place one night.
“She told me she was awakened by loud banging noises and saw an old Chinese man standing next to her bed. Corinne’s sister, who was in the room, also saw the man,” said Duckworth.
“Corinne asked the man what he wanted but there was no reply and the man just walked away. The banging noises, however, continued. Corinne told her parents and although they looked everywhere, the man was not found.''
The Richardsons later found out that at the exact time that Corinne saw the old man, the chief of a nearby village on Jalan Bellamy had passed away.
“When she was shown a picture of the village chief, Corinne recognised him as the old man who had appeared in her room.''
During the Duckworth family’s stay at the house, the haunting worsened and they had to conduct an exorcism ceremony.
Other than this, the family enjoyed their stay on the quaint Bellamy road.
“It was a very quiet and nice residential area with big trees. said Duckworth.

Mission Incredible: Al Qaeda Train Terror Plot Predicted by Secret Psychic Spies
An incredible development in the leaking of documents from the raid on Osama Bin Laden's compound reveals that a plot had been planned for 2009 in the west. But that information had already been revealed due to information derived solely from psychic impulses generated through the Defense Intelligence Administration and released through the investigative program keeping tabs on the project.
When we first heard that a series of terror attacks on trains in 2009 had been planned, the date came and went with nothing of the sort occurring. The information was readily dismissed by western media outlets due to its source - information leaked from a spy network employing purely psychic means of information gathering. These psychic spies had spoken of a terror plot taking place in 2009 after remaining silent for some time. After the event information was not always forthcoming on why the prediction had failed. And by 2011 the event was all but forgotten.
But the site STARpod.org and PsycheLeaks resurfaced the information with breaking details that suddenly put a story that came out in 2009 in context now with new information confirmed on CNN and other major media outlets in 2011. The Al Qaeda terror plot had been planned, just as the psychics said - and was subsequently abandoned. This vindication for the Stargate program may mean future explorations into the power of human consciousness in the future.

7 Stargates, Vortex Spots, Portals And Energy Worm Holes You Can Visit
by Timothy Green Beckley
Ancient people knew that wherever the earth’s energy gathered into a vortex was a sacred place. They knew – and scientists are beginning to understand once again today – that we are surrounded by a tremendous amount of energy that has been provided for us by the Creator. It’s available for the asking if we could only learn to harness the forces of the universe in a positive way. Some refer to it as the cosmic flow. We could enter Stargates, learning to travel through space and time, and perhaps power our homes and automobiles at a fraction of the cost of what we spend today.
There are certain places you can “feel it in the air” – where the atmosphere prickles with electricity making your hair stand on end. There are certain sacred spots where the earth vibrates at a higher level. These are earth’s vortex regions, its gateways to other dimensions.
Here is a list of some of the spots which are so mystical that thousands visit them annually so as to mingle with other worldly intelligence. Of course, one has to go to these places very gingerly, very carefully, as there are certain “hazards” which might confront the novice along their spiritual journey.
1. Sedona
Located in the State of Arizona, in the Great South West, Sedona is the Mecca for New Age orientated travelers. Here for several centuries Native Americans have performed shamanistic rituals drawing on the power generated by the red rocks said to have great healing properties. Landmarks such as Bell and Cathedral Rocks are said to be doorways to another dimension.
UFOs have been known to dot the sky and strange beings from other realms often materialize and are caught on film. One of the “hot spots” for UFO sightings known as the Bradshaw Ranch has been purchased by the Department of Land Management and is now “off limits” to tourists. Celebrities such as Shirley MacLaine can often be seen strolling the streets of Sedona. There are many art galleries and metaphysical centers to occupy a person’s time when not doing a bit of backpacking.
2. Bermuda Triangle
Hundreds of planes and ships have mysteriously vanished in this swirling vortex of ocean situated between Florida, Puerto Rico and Bermuda. Flying into the area, veteran pilots have often reported their navigation equipment going wild. Mysterious balls of light have been seen descending and shooting out of the ocean. Christopher Columbus even reported strange aerial displays in the captain’s log.
From time to time, mysterious fogs roll in to land from out at sea and individuals report being drawn almost into a hypnotic trance. Though most scientists are skeptical, there are others who believe such an unknown power can be harnessed and used to our advantage. This is a true Stargate – but some who have entered have not returned to tell the tale.
3. The Great Pyramid
Egypt’s Pyramid of Giza is the largest structure in the world built by man. Archaeologists contend that the Great Pyramid was used as a burial chamber for the pharoahs. They don’t find it a miracle that the blocks of stone weigh many tons each, and it seems impossible even for hundreds of slaves to move them into their proper position. Believers in the Ancient Astronaut theory say the construction of the Great Pyramid might have come about with the help of extraterrestrials.
Arcane researchers have presented many other views including a variety of geophysical, astronomical, numerical, and prophetic interpretations made by explorers, authors, and visitors to the Great Pyramid over the last 200+ years. These interpretations run the range of topics such as the Great Pyramid having been used as a sundial, to the calculation of the speed of light, to the prediction of the exact dates of the birth of Adam, the Exodus, and the birth, baptism, and crucifixion of Jesus. It is perhaps the most recognizable vortex on Earth.
4. Stonehenge
There are various theories as to who actually constructed Stonehenge, a huge circular monolith located on Salisbury Plane in England. Going back many hundreds of years, we know that the Druids used it for their religious ceremonies and that it acts as a huge sundial and calendar. Tourists flock here especially during the equinox to have their vibrations lifted.
Some have reported “missing time,” voyages out of the body. A rather new phenomenon associated with the region around Stonehenge is the unexplained appearance of crop circles consisting of mysterious, compelling designs that appear overnight in fields of grain in the same area in the form of circles, intricate geometric symbols and glyphs. (In the UK, they're actually known as “corn circles.”) For a long time one of the best spots to see a UFO was in the nearby town of Warminister, where nightly skywatches were organized.
5. Mount Shasta
For the more adventuresome who are willing to go out on their own and disappear from society for a while. Lemurians and survivors of other "Lost Civilizations" are said to roam the mountain freely and occasionally wander into town to trade gold for supplies. A strange race of “little people” appear at night to collect edibles and return to their secret cavern homes.
Native Americans residing in the backwoods say they have not only heard the screams of Bigfoot, but have seen these hairy creatures close-up! Here, some have claimed to have visited Telos, the capitol of the Inner Earth occupied by the Ascended Masters of Wisdom. There are also accounts of miraculous healings, including those by folks whose eyesight has been regenerated after being struck by mysterious blue beams of light coming from inside the mountain.
6. Mojave Desert
Stretching for hundreds of square miles, the Mojave Desert is said to draw UFOs like a magnet. Many of the early reports of meeting with human-looking aliens took place in spots like Joshua Tree and at Giant Rock, one of nature’s largest standing rocks where crystal partials are imbedded, increasing the proper cosmic vibrations suitable for contact with other dimensions.
Many ghost towns dot the area, left over from when prospectors flocked to the region in a frenzy for gold. There are chilling tales of abandoned mines, mysterious creatures, spook lights and even a haunted Opera House in the middle of Death Valley. One of the most scenic settings in the world, Mother Nature offers all the complements necessary for peaceful trance-like states or for channeling.
7. Hoia-Baciu Forest
There is even a magical forest in Romania. The Hoia-Baciu Forest is, for sure, one of the country’s most famous locales, where a series of inexplicable phenomena have been investigated and analyzed. It is called “the Bermuda Triangle of Transylvania.” As one website (juliasromaniaguide.com/hoiabaciuforest/) explains it, “The Hoia-Baciu Forest keeps on being fascinating, especially because of what the witnesses say about the strangest physical sensations, the lights in the middle of the night, the shapes, forms, the strange appearances of human faces, the voices and the different colors.
The place has shortly become famous among the paranormal and esoteric events specialists, entire teams of famous scientific explorers from Germany, France, USA and Hungary visiting the Hoia-Baciu Forest even during the Communism and managing to catch some inexplicable phenomena.”

Mysterious Hairy, Giant Caterpillars Invade Yogya
Villagers from the border region between Yogyakarta and East Java have reported being attacked by what can only be described as jumbo caterpillars.
Surono, a resident of Sambirejo village, Gunung Kidul district, told the Jakarta Globe on Friday that the unusually large caterpillars — covered in long hair which make them appear about the size of a child’s fist — began appearing about 10 days ago.
“Villagers were shocked and scared because these caterpillars looked really unusual,” he said. “It is a bit bigger than a regular caterpillar, but the hair is so thick it makes them look jumbo-size.” Surono said the caterpillars had initially only attacked nearby plantations, but over the past several days they had decimated other trees in the area and were also invading villagers’ homes.

The Poltergeist Phenomenon
An interview with Michael Clarkson, author of The Poltergeist Phenomenon
The poltergeist phenomenon is one of the most intriguing and baffling areas of paranormal research, in great part because there are physical manifestations: objects being moved (even thrown) about; electrical devices going on and off by themselves, or malfunctioning without cause; loud bangs and raps; water dripping from ceilings from seemingly no source.
Many hundreds of cases have been documented over the years, and although the effects were once attributed to ghosts (poltergeist means "noisy spirit"), it is now thought to be the unconscious product of human agents.
In his book, The Poltergeist Phenomenon: An In-Depth Investigation into Floating Beds, Smashing Glass, and Other Unexplained Disturbances, award-winning investigative reporter Michael Clarkson reviews 75 notable cases and talks to the victims and eyewitnesses to the perplexing, often unnerving disturbances in an effort to bring us closer to an understanding -- or at least an acceptance of the reality -- of the phenomenon. Following is an interview with Mr. Clarkson.
Many paranormal researchers suspect that poltergeist activity is not caused by a ghost or other outside entity, but by living individuals. Has your research led you to the same theory?
Yes. My research suggests we are dealing with haunted people, not spirits or buildings. Poltergeist energy (recurrent spontaneous psychokinesis or RSPK) usually revolves around a person in the room, most often a young person going through puberty. In only about 5 percent of the 75 cases I reviewed, a spirit was reportedly involved and perhaps acting through a young person to move objects.

Bid to stop children taking 'live fish' asthma cure
Picture is (C) copyright to AFP
HYDERABAD, India - Campaigners in India have demanded that children under 14 be banned from swallowing live fish in a traditional treatment for asthma administered at a festival every year in June.
Hundreds of thousands of sufferers gather annually in Hyderabad in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh to gulp down small live fish and a special herb paste.
The Goud family, which says it received the medicine recipe from a Hindu saint in 1845, treats people from across India for free during a two-day period determined by astrologers and the onset of the monsoon.
The wriggling five-centimetre (two-inch) fish, which the family says clear the throat on their way down, will be dispensed this year on June 8 and 9.
Child rights group Balala Hakkula Sangham has lobbied the state's Human Rights Commission to stop children under 14 from taking the medicine as it is "unscientific" and a violation of human rights.

The Third Man Factor
Sleep-deprived, starving and gasping for air, former RAF pilot Frank Smythe was alone on Mount Everest.
One by one, his fellow mountaineers had turned back, frozen and exhausted, and the British Everest Expedition, which had begun as a large, military-style assault, had been reduced to just one man.
The date was June 1, 1933, the era of high altitude climbing was in its infancy and Everest, the world's highest peak, had yet to be conquered.
Smythe was now in the so-called 'death zone' - the area above 26,000ft where the amount of oxygen in the air is insufficient to sustain human life.
'Weak as a kitten', he pressed forward, but with each step he sank deeper into the snow. The summit was only 1,000 feet higher, but it might have been 1,000 miles.
Smythe was 'overcome by a feeling of hopelessness and weariness'. His limbs trembled and he felt like he was suffocating.
He made one last attempt to press on, but standing for a few moments 'at the very boundaries of life and death', at an elevation as high as any man had ever reached, he finally concluded that the summit of Everest 'was not for mere flesh and blood'.

UFO photographed in China
Picture is (C) copyright to THE STAR/ANN
A MAN took a picture of an unidentified flying object (UFO) while holidaying in the outskirts of Kunming, China.
He did not notice anything strange in the sky until he looked at the photographs he took later.
'I took two pictures of the scenery. When I checked them later that night, I saw three black dots hovering above the Songhua dam in one of the photos. The biggest one looked like a butterfly,' he said.
Kunming UFO Research Society president Zhang Yifang said he ruled out the biggest black spot being a kite or a bird.
'It has the saucer-like shape of a UFO. I believe it is a UFO, but I can't confirm anything with just one photograph,' he said.

Judgment Day forecaster points to new doomsday date
By Steve Gorman
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – The evangelical Christian broadcaster whose much-ballyhooed Judgment Day prophecy went conspicuously unfulfilled on Saturday has a simple explanation for what went wrong -- he miscalculated.
Instead of the world physically coming to an end on May 21 with a great, cataclysmic earthquake, as he had predicted, Harold Camping, 89, said he now believes his forecast is playing out "spiritually," with the actual apocalypse set to occur five months later, on October 21.
Camping, who launched a doomsday countdown in which some followers spent their life's savings in anticipation of being swept into heaven, issued his correction during an appearance on his "Open Forum" radio show from Oakland, California.
The headquarters of Camping's Family Radio network of 66 U.S. stations had been shuttered over the weekend with a sign on the door that read, "This Office is Closed. Sorry we missed you!"
During a sometimes rambling, 90-minute discourse that included a question-and-answer session with reporters, Camping said he felt bad that Saturday had come and gone without the Rapture he had felt so certain would take place.

How to summon a Succubus/Incubus
Master Oregon note: This article should be for general knowledge and reading pleasure only. Our readers are discouraged to test it out or try it. Life is too precious to end it.
This spell was apparently popular in the Victorian age, because occult things were considered to be in fashion back then. If you're really keen on witchcraft and want to try summoning one or some other kind of demon, I suggest doing more research and find a different version of the spell. There are many spells for summoning demons for example. It takes very little effort to simply change the name of the demon to Lilitu or Lilim. Most spells like that require that you actually know the demon's proper name however.
Clearly mark the floor with a white chord and take 3 black candles (or 5) and place them equidistant apart.
Outside the circle, have 3 or 5 (same number as candles) protective talismans or sigils around you.
Also, if possible, create an outer circle made from crushed protective herbs mixed together. Calm yourself and relax.
Center yourself. Now, visualize the circle around you, protecting you and separating you from the rest of your house. This is *essential*.
Once you have done that, and the candles are lit, lay in the pentagram position (arms straight out, legs apart) and summon the succubus (I suggest this over an incubus because of the different nature of a succubus over an incubus).
Feel her come into the circle and feel her power. Feel her coalesce into a physical, or semi physical form and now you'll be able to interact with her.
She should be easier to invoke and banish than a Incubus and I suggest a successful encounter with her followed by a successful banish of her before attempting the more aggressive Incubus. Always do these at the new moon.
