Indian woman with two wombs gives birth to two healthy boys, one from each uterus

A WOMAN with two wombs has amazed doctors by giving birth to two healthy boys – one from each uterus.

Rinku Devi, 28, conceived her sons a month apart with eggs from different ovaries.

Healthy births of this type are so rare that an average of one case is reported each year anywhere in the world.

Rinku, who had a caesarian in the northern Indian city of Patna, defying one in 50 million odds, believed she was carrying twins but had no idea she had two wombs.
