History of Mid-Autumn Festival

The Mid-autumn Festival dates back over 3,000 years, to moon worshipping in the Shang Dynasty. Ancient Chinese emperors worshiped the moon in the autumn, as they believed that the practice would bring them another harvest year. The word “mid-autumn” first appeared in the Zhou Dynasty. During that time, worshipping the moon on the 15th night of the eighth month had spread to high officials and rich families. The practice entailed placing a large table in the middle of the yard under the moon, and they put offerings such as fruits and snacks on the table. However, not until the early Tang Dynasty was the day officially celebrated as a traditional festival. It then became an established festival during the Song Dynasty, and has become as popular as the Spring Festival since the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Appreciating the moon has been a custom since the Tang Dynasty (618–907). Not only the rich merchants and officials, but also the common citizens, liked appreciating the moon together at that time. The rich merchants and officials held big parties in their big courts. They drank and appreciated the bright moon. Music and dances were also indispensable. The common citizens just prayed to the moon for a good harvest. The tradition of eating mooncakes during the festival bgan in Yuan Dynasty. At the end of Yuan Dynasty (1271–1368, a dynasty ruled by the Mongols), the Han people’s army wanted to overthrow the rule of the Mongols, so they planed an uprising, but they had no way to inform every Han who wanted to join them of the time of the uprising without being discovered by the Mongols. One day, the military counselor of the Han people’s army, Liu Bowen, thought out a stratagem related to mooncakes. Liu Bowen asked his soldiers to spread the rumor that there would be a serious disease in winter and eating mooncakes was the only way to cure the disease, then he asked soldiers to write "uprising, at the night of Mid-Autumn Festival" on papers and put them into mooncakes then sell them to common Han people. When the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival came a huge uprising broke out. From then on, people eat mooncakes every Mid-Autumn Festival to commemorate the uprising. [Click here to read full article]

Legend of Mid Autumn Festival

On the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese calendar every year, Mid-Autumn Festival (Zhong Qiu Jie) or what some called as Moon cake Festival or Lantern festival is being celebrated. On this very day, it will always be of a full moon without fail! The Moon on this very night will be always very big, bright and round. If you were looking at the moon, you will see some images.

What most people would see would be either a Maiden or a Rabbit! Very few people will see a toad! You should not see any other images than these 3 images. There is an explanation in fact to why it can only be one of those 3 images.

There are however several versions of this story and henceforth many arguments as a result. It has been said that each provinces of China has their own individual versions. The story that I know when I was a kid is as follows:

Chinese Cupid God, Yue Lao

Yue Lao

The Chinese version of the cupid would be Yue Lao. Cupid to the western is a young chap who is some sort of angel that shoots love arrows. All he needs to do is to shoot his first arrow at one person followed by the second arrow at another person. The person whom had been shot by his arrow would be connected together and fall in love with each other. Yue Lao on the other hand is an old man living in the moon. He is a matchmaker as well as the god of marriages. All humans have a piece of red string. All he needs to do is to tie a knot with the red threads as one piece. Whosoever whose strings is being tied together would fall in love and come together eventually.

What is Asian Black Magic

What is black magic?
How does black magic affect you?
Is there really black ,agic?
A number of ideas and practise are group together under the Chinese term “KU”. These ideas and practices justify the use of the phrase “black Magic”.The purpose is to injure someone. In some sense, the word contrast is “white magic” whose purpose is to beneficial.
In general, “ku” is a means of acquiring wealth or secondary to revenge or for love. The method is to place poisonous snakes and insects together in a vessel until there is but one survivor, which is called “ku” . The poison secured from the “ku” is administrated to the victim, who becomes sick and dies. Generally, “ku” is regarded as a spirit, which secured the wealth of the victim for the sorcerer.

Love spells experience in South East Asia

You may have seen, on this forum or other forums, countless postings from self-proclaimed New Age practitioners, healers, magicians etc promising to reunite lovers, to bring back that ex-boyfriend or girlfriend you never stopped loving.
I, for one, had the privilege of experiencing this wonderful emotion called love with a man five years ago. Some may say it was my downfall to have given so much of my heart to him. He was young and immature. After being fired from his job, he left me from external pressures from worries about work, money...peers telling him he was too young to settle down, that he could do better than me...
I know full well the temptation to sell one's eternal soul just for a few kind words and moments with the man you love with all your heart. Asia's love magic industry is worth billions - Malay/Indonesian bomohs, Thai/Cambodian black magic masters abound to prey on single desperate women yearning for love, be it a new love, bringing home a straying husband or an ex-boyfriend. 99% of these are scam artists. Unfortunately, there is the 1% who are genuine practitioners of the black arts to draw these women into a living hell.
I was broken-hearted after we broke up and fell to the depths of depression. As a result, I was tempted into a dastardly world of Malay bomohs and Thai black magic masters in a desperate bid to bring him back to me. All the nastiest practices you can think of in the black arts, be it dead foetuses in bottles, wax voodoo dolls, using my ex-boyfriend's bazi, personal items etc - I did it all...and was nearly dragged into hell in the process.

Black Magic Monk/priest for Recommendation

Codex is correct and let me give you an example of a time the "love magic" backfired.

A young woman wanted to get a guy she wanted to "own" to forget his wife and love her alone.
At the time, he was my teacher; we were very close friends.

It did work to get rid of his wife; but he then fell in love with ME~ maybe b/c I was close by and he already had feelings of affection for me. However, since the young woman was successful in getting rid of the wife, she then managed to move in w/him; the lust part apparently worked.

After a while, however he tired of her and though she was a minor and made his life hell (if you get rid of me, I will tell the police who will put you in jail) and wasn't interested.

Meanwhile, she did it again. Again, he went crazy for me, still a student of his. it also worked on me as well, and I was crazy for him.

Later, after some painful time of my husband getting angry, and me pulling away, he let her this time -- the spell was one that was to make him forget me. It only made him extremely ill for the past 18 months. He is actually showing signs of schizophrenia. The young woman got tired of this and moved out...about 4 months ago now. In the past month he is getting more and more clear-eyed. Though he and I still enjoy a very close friendship it isn't crazy anymore as it was before.

Hope this helps. in conclusion, I strongly urge you NOT to engage in black magic. Even if it works it has side effects that have high cost and it doesn't last all that long, typically

TYPES OF ALIENS

  • AGHARIANS - (or Aghartians)
A group of Asiatic or Nordic humans who, sources claim, discovered a vast system of caverns below the region of the Gobi desert and surrounding areas thousands of years ago, and have since established a thriving kingdom within, one which has been interacting with other-planetary systems up until current times.

  • ALPHA-DRACONIANSReptilian beings who are said to have established colonies in Alpha Draconis. Like all reptilians, these claim to have originated on Terra thousands of years ago, a fact that they use to 'justify' their attempt to re-take the earth for their own. They are apparently a major part of a planned 'invasion' which is eventually turning from covert infiltration mode to overt invasion mode as the "window of opportunity" (the time span before International human society becomes an interplanetary and interstellar power) slowly begins to close.
    ----
They are attempting to keep the "window" open by suppressing advanced technology from the masses, which would lead to eventual Terran colonization of other planets by Earth and an eventual solution to the population, pollution, food and other environmental problems. Being that Terrans have an inbred "warrior" instinct the Draconians DO NOT want them/us to attain interstellar capabilities and therefore become a threat to their imperialistic agendas. Refer to Els

  • ALTAIRIANS Alleged Reptilian inhabitants of the Altair stellar system in the constellation Aquila, in collaboration with a smaller Nordic human element and a collaborative Grey and Terranmilitary presence. Headquarters of a collective known as the "Corporate", which maintains ties with the Ashtar and Draconian collectives (Draconian). (Ashtar Command)

  • AMPHIBIANS Similar to the Saurians or Reptiloids, yet being hominoid creatures with reptilian AS WELL AS amphibian-like features and are semi-aquatic in nature. May have once lived on land, yet became more aquatic over the centuries. 'They' have been encountered near swampy regions, rivers, etc., and have been known to attack people without being provoked. It is interesting that some types of Greys AND Reptiloids are believed to be semi-aquatic, having webbed fingers and toes (Draconian).

  • AMOEBA-LIKE CREATURES over polar regions of the earth.
No name that I can find. These have shown up periodically over the last ten years. NASA is working on this. Every time they've been detected, all kinds of strange illnesses break out. They don't how they can stay alive and be in outer space
  • ANABUA - SCULPTURE BY CYNTHIA CRAWFORD - http://etsculptor.com/Anabua.html When I first made the Anabua Being it was after have a very unusual woman appear in front of me who looked like an Eagle covered with human flesh. When she walked out of the room, I followed after - only to see that she had vanished. A month later a man in Native American clothing with this same facial features walked down an isle at a conference near my display of sculptures. Same thing happened, he, too, vanished when he left the room. My guides gave me this information: We are the Anabua, the feather tribe of beings you call the Eagle. We came from the Orion Star system and have been on Gaia, Mother Earth, longer than mankind has existed. We are the balance of nature, eating only that which sustains us. But human's greed has cut down and burned the forest, replacing it with cold, lifeless structures while defacing its natural beauty. Man's greed that has lead to wars and he will eventually annihilate not only himself but all life on Earth, leaving behind a baron planet. We shape-shift now to walk amongst you, to look you in the eye and be your reflection; to awaken you before it's too late. We plead, put back the Earth the way you found it; live amongst us in peace the way you once did; stop your foolish ways before there is nothing left to save. We cry for the planet Earth and not for the human race.

  • ANAKIM, THE
(also referred to the 'Els', short for 'Elder Race' or simply as the 'Giants')
Referred to in ancient Hebrew tradition, this race is allegedly tied-in with a branch of ancient humans who broke-off from mainstream humanity because of their vast size which had developed over the centuries, possibly as a result of a genetic anomaly. They are said to range anywhere from 9-11 ft. and in some cases even 12 ft. in height, although in configuration they are remarkably similar to 'International' humans. Are said to possess a means of molecular condensing and expansion which allows some of their kind to mingle among humans on the surface. They have allegedly been encountered in deep and extensive cavern systems below the western part of North America, as far north as Alaska, as far south as Mexico, and as far east as Texas. They are believed to have interstellar traveling capabilities

Lord Jesus Christ is not just the typical Western image we always see.

He does has many other faces or so called transformations just like many other typical Asian Gods & Buddhas where most of them come in several forms as well.

The below will be some of various forms of Jesus from Asia.

Asians are Alliens ?

Photobucket

While doing some research for a book I was thinking of writing, I came upon a bunch of web pages dedicated to exploring the connection between aliens and people of Asian descent. Not the “aliens ineligible for citizenship” kind, but literally aliens from outer space — It seems that people on the Internet believe that Asians are either aliens themselves or the love child of an intergalactic relationship.
Most of the “evidence” (I use the word evidence very loosely) for this alien/Asian connection are based on out-dated Asian stereotypes. Some of my personal favorites: We’re good at math and seem to be technologically advanced, our lack of size/hair/height, the perceived difficulty/complexity of our languages, our martial arts abilities, our almond (their word, not mine) eyes, the fact that the Bible does not mention us, and many other silly reasons that are too numerous (and idiotic) to list here. The most convincing though is the fact that “aliens” sounds similar to “Asians.” It is impossible to argue with that kind of logic..
In addition, many people who claim to have been abducted by aliens have said their abductors looked Asian. According to UFOAnlyer, 25% of the people who have been abducted have said that their abductor’s eyes were “oriental” or “mongoloid.” And in that same report, one guy even had sexual relations with two alien women. One was a blond and the other was Asian looking!

Could Jesus be an Asian ?

Photobucket

I recently saw a painting of Jesus. He had blue eyes and blond hair. Did the real Jesus really have blond hair and blue eyes? I started to think about some of the other images of Jesus I’ve seen.
Photobucket
There’s African Jesus, there’s Arab Jesus…And there’s a European Jesus (with brownish blond hair and green eyes). But could there be an Asian Jesus?
Photobucket

Apparently, I’m not the only one to wonder this. I was watching an episode of Family Guy where Stewie claimed that Jesus was Chinese and that his last name was Hong.
Of course, I wouldn’t take the word of a cartoon, so I started doing some of my own “research” on the subject.  I found Asian Jesus’ on MySpace and Facebook. But what I was most surprised to find were the number of images/paintings of an “Asian” Jesus.

Siblings of Jesus ?

Mary had many other children in addition to Jesus
Click to ViewBecause these verses so clearly contradict Catholic doctrine, Catholic interpreters will insist these are cousins, kinsmen, or from a supposed earlier marriage of Joseph. Of course, the Bible proves all these things wrong. The Catechism gives this ridiculous and incorrect explanation:
  • "The Church has always understood these passages as not referring to other children of the Virgin Mary. In fact James and Joseph, 'brothers of Jesus,' are the sons of another Mary, a disciple of Christ..." Pg. 126 #500).

Wife of Jesus ?

The Fourth Gospel says very clearly that the woman who anointed Jesus at Bethany was Mary, the sister of Lazarus. Mary Magdalen's name is not mentioned in connection with the anointing scene, but it is she who accompanies Jesus to Calvary in the Gospels, standing near the cross; and it is she who goes at dawn on Easter morning to finish the anointing for burial that she began several days before. Why was Mary of Bethany called "the Magdalen"? Why was she forced to flee Jerusalem? And what became of the sacred bloodline she carried with her?
I have come to suspect that Jesus had a secret dynastic marriage with Mary of Bethany and that she was a daughter of the tribe of Benjamin, whose ancestral heritage was the land surrounding the Holy City of David, the city Jerusalem. A dynastic marriage between Jesus and a royal daughter of the Benjamites would have been perceived as a source of healing to the people of Israel during their time of misery as an occupied nation.
Israel's first anointed King Saul was of the tribe of Benjamin, and his daughter Michol was the wife of King David. Throughout the history of the tribes of Israel, the tribes of Judah and Benjamin were the closest and most loyal of allies. Their destinies were intertwined. A dynastic marriage between a Benjamite heiress to the lands surrounding the Holy City and the messianic Son of David would have appealed to the fundamentalist Zealot faction of the Jewish nation. It would have been seen as a sign of hope and blessing during Israel's darkest hour.

Was Jesus Christ Married ?

These days, one of the questions I often receive about Jesus has to do with his marital status. This question didn’t just drop out of heaven, however. It was born of the popularity of Dan Brown’s controversial novel, The Da Vinci Code. This novel advocates the thesis that Jesus was in fact married to the woman we know as Mary Magdalene, that they had a child together, and that this “truth” was covered up by the church for self-serving reasons.
Many readers of The Da Vinci Code, believing the fictional history of the novel to be true, have been buzzing about the possibility of Jesus’ having been married. In a recent survey conducted by the online religious website Beliefnet, 19% of respondents said they believe that Mary Magdalene was in fact Jesus’ wife.

Did Jesus had Siblings ?

When we carefully consider the Biblical record, the question itself seems quite ridiculous, because it is so clear even from the context of many of the scriptures that He did. The only major religion that chooses to dispute this is the Roman Catholic religion.

Roman Catholicism dogmatically maintain that following the Lord's birth, Mary continued in her virginity the rest of her life and never bore any more children. This in direct contradiction to everything in scripture which shows that though Joseph and Mary did not come together before Jesus was born, they did afterward, and the Lord indeed blessed them with Children.
With so much Biblical validation for this, the question is, why would anyone attempt to dispute it, or even want to?

The answer is as simple as the word 'tradition'. It is because these scriptures directly contradict Roman Catholic tradition which glorifies Mary as a perpetual virgin, Co-Redemptrix, and Mediatrix. If this church were to confess that the scripture is correct and Mary had other children, it would destroy their well oiled myths about Mary. Therefore, a way had to be devised which would justify this teaching.

God's Chinese Son

Much has been written about and discussed about for many years by many people

This Book is just one of the them.
Revolutionist, Cultist, Prophet, God's Son or just a mere Rebel ?

You decide on your own

Whether read for its powerful account of the largest uprising in human history, or for its foreshadowing of the terrible convulsions suffered by twentieth-century China, or for the narrative power of a great historian at his best, God's Chinese Son must be read. At the center of this history of China's Taiping rebellion (1845-64) stands Hong Xiuquan, a failed student of Confucian doctrine who ascends to heaven in a dream and meets his heavenly family: God, Mary, and his older brother, Jesus. He returns to earth charged to eradicate the "demon-devils," the alien Manchu rulers of China. His success carries him and his followers to the heavenly capital at Nanjing, where they rule a large part of south China for more than a decade. Their decline and fall, wrought by internal division and the unrelenting military pressures of the Manchus and the Western powers, carry them to a hell on earth. Twenty million Chinese are left dead.

God’s Chinese Son , Hong Xiuquan ( the Second Great Awakening ? )

Was the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Rebellion the said  Second Great Awakening  of the bible ?

Who is God's Chinese Son, Hong Xiuquan ?

the below will be some extracts

====================================================

The Taiping Rebellion of 1850-1864 was a millenarian war in the literal sense of the term. Inspired and led by the visionary Hong Xiuquan, it was a campaign with the ultimate goal of establishing the Kingdom of Heaven everywhere on earth. It very nearly succeeded in overthrowing the Qing Dynasty, which had ruled China since 1644. It was the most devastating conflict of the nineteenth century. The figure usually given for the number of deaths is twenty million. Most of these were civilians who died of famine or pestilence caused by the back-and-forth struggle of Taiping and Imperial Chinese forces.

A large percentage, however, were casualties of battles comparable in size to those of the contemporary Civil War in America. Millenarian insurrections have not been rare in human history, and the nineteenth century was particularly rich with them. Few if any, however, have matched the Taiping in size, sophistication and degree of success.

This account of the Taiping movement by Jonathan D. Spence, a Sterling Professor of History at Yale, is a rare delight. Spence is a veteran sinologist, notable for maintaining his critical integrity in a field traditionally marred by political kowtowing. The literature on the Taiping is understandably considerable, and a book on the subject could easily become distended into a general study of Chinese culture or of millenarian movements. Spence keeps close to the narrative history, giving just enough background information on Chinese (particularly southern Chinese) folk customs and religious beliefs to make the story comprehensible.

The result is an account that is objective but sympathetic to the principal figures. The book is short on analysis and uses speculation only to cover inevitable gaps in the sources. All in all, this is a very good way to cover a large subject.

In outline, at least, the history of the Taiping resembles the history of the Third Reich in its melodramatic simplicity. A prophet of humble birth had a vision. After a time of confusion and war, he formed a little cult. At first obscure, the cult suddenly became a crusading army, the Kingdom of Heaven on the march. In a few years they seized the second city of the empire and continued to expand militarily even as they established the divine order on earth.

The millennium turned out to be a nightmare, however, a totalitarian state racked by bloody purges. As his competent ministers died or fled, the prophet increasingly lost touch with reality. When he died, isolated in his palace during the final siege of his capital by the resurgent forces of the old order, the Kingdom of Heaven collapsed. In China and in Europe, the drama took just over half a generation to enact.

The Brother of Jesus Christ in China , Hong Xiu Quan

The Taiping Rebellion (1851-1864) is an event that has been lost in time and recently ignored except by the most passionate scholar of China. Even many who consider themselves students of modern China would not recognize the name Hong Xiuquan. Yet, this cataclysmic spectacle claimed more lives than any other world event excepting World War II. During this time of turmoil, over 20,000,000 Chinese died and the Qing Dynasty tottered on the brink of fall six decades before its eventual collapse.

How was this failed member of the scholar gentry, who believed himself to be the younger brother of Jesus Christ and, thus, "God's Chinese Son" able to gather armies and challenge the Qing Mandate of Heaven? Previous Christian missions had been rewarded with little success. Yet, Hong's version of the gospel was indigenous and was introduced during a period of enormous population growth, goading poverty, and extreme economic dislocation. It was this combination of factors as much as his religious teachings that attracted the multitudes to the teachings of Hong Xiuquan.

The eventual failure of the movement may be attributed to Hong's imperial and deistic pretensions, internal discord among the Taiping leadership, and foreign support for a dynasty that had recently yielded enormous concessions to European governments and traders.

A student of this period may easily be bogged down in the theological tracts and imperial internecine warfare. For a true understanding of the movement and its leader, consult the works of Jonathon Spence* and approach your task using this quote from John Patrick Davies Jr. as a guide.

". . .Had it not been for the great groundswell of popular discontent, Hung (Hong) would not have gone beyond an obscure religious crackpot, unnoticed in history."

*The most interesting work on the period is "God's Chinese Son." Two lectures, which Spence gave at Baylor University in 1996, are also informative. These lectures have been reprinted under the title, "The Taiping Version of a Christian China."

Rare Snow in North Africa Algeria

Rare Snows in North Africa

By Evan Duffey, Meteorologist
Feb 6, 2012; 2:02 PM ET

Snow made a rare appearance in Algiers, the capital city of Algeria.
Cold air associated with a storm system diving into northern Africa provided for some decent accumulations of snow in the north African country.
According to Accuweather Meteorologist Eric Wanenchak, most reports say the last time Algiers saw this kind of accumulation was at least seven years ago in 2005.

Snow in South Africa August 2012

An extreme cold snap covered large swaths of South Africa with snow on Tuesday, the first time in years as much of the cold stuff has fallen there.
In fact, it has snowed in Johannesburg, South Africa on only 22 other days in 103 years, The Associated Press reported.

The South Africa Weather Service said heavy snowfall fell on the Western Cape Mountains, Eastern Cape high ground, Lesotho and Drakensburg.
Parts of central and northern Freestate province, as well as in southern areas of the province Gauteng, have seen light snowfall.

It brought office workers outside to take pictures, catch snowflakes on their tongues and slide down snow-covered hills using cardboard for sleds.
But it also closed roads or snared and slowed traffic.

Flakes started falling early Tuesday and by the afternoon, eight of the country’s nine provinces reported snow.
The ninth, Limpopo, hadn’t issued an official report, but the South African Weather Service said satellite imagery showed it had likely fallen there as well, spokeswoman Kenosi Machepa told the AP.

“It’s difficult to gauge how much snow has fallen as we don’t really measure snowfall in South Africa, but it’s more than we have had since 2008,” forecaster Venetia Phakula said, the Mail & Guardian reported.
Johannesburg appears to have received the brunt of the extreme weather, while US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s African trip continued in a snowy Pretoria.
This much snow hasn’t fallen in Joburg since 1981, and it hasn’t snowed in Pretoria since 1968,SouthAfrica.info reported.

Published on 7 Aug 2012 by
The South African Weather Service says Johannesburg residents can expect more snow this afternoon. Parts of Gauteng are already blanketed in snow and residents have taken to social media to post their pictures...http://ow.ly/cNQq9

Bad Fengshui or Coincidence For deaths in Bedok ? ( Compilations of Bedok related articles)

Has it been of a mere recently Coincidence or is it really some serious and terrible bad Fengshui ( Geomancy) reason that is resulting in much of the recent news of Singapore concerning Bedok ?

Even with exorcism with recent deaths on the rise did not even seem to help much.

In the recent years, deaths had repeated itself again and again for the case of Bedok Reservoir. The numbers of dead just seem to be increasing.

after much research by much masters and various communities of different groups, the most likely possible reason seem to be FENG SHUI ( Geomancy)

Some of points in Common from the various groups and sects of the fengshui masters about Bedok reservoir was the shape of the reservoir, as that there is a human trapped in the middle trying very hard to get out. This human is faced with much threats from the surroundings and is in fear & anxiety.

as a result of such people who die there are not in some proper state of mind. They are confused, sad, disappointed etc..............

or could it just be of some mere coincidence ?

Deaths occurs everywhere, all the time. why didn't other places seem to be a hot topic for such ?  why only Bedok reservoir ? it is just a mere coincidence.

But again, the Chinese had an old saying that this word , coincidence happen only 3 times anything that is more than 3 times cannot be termed as coincidence anymore.

furthermore, law enforcers cannot afford to believe in this words called as coincidence. Same goes for many other occupations especially when there want to solves mysteries. It will be impossible to solve any mysteries and resolve any cases if these group of people believe in this word call as coincidence.

But again saying this, we still cannot deny that coincidence do exist in this world as well with no other explanations.

So how much of it is it really of a mere coincidence or is there more than to meet the eye with Feng Shui as the reason , just perhaps ?

The below would be a compilations of articles we had related to Bedok so far.

Penis on Fish Head ( New Species Discovered in Vietnam)

A new species of fish with a penis on its head has been discovered in Vietnam. But it's not what you're picturing — actually it's probably worse. This penis includes a rod and a jagged hook used for grabbing the female during sex.

The fish, Phallostethus cuulong, was discovered by researchers in Vietnam's Mekong Delta. It is the newest member of the Phallostethidae family, a group of fish with small, skinny, nearly transparent bodies that live in Southeast Asia, and which are distinguished by the location of their sex organs.

The more technical name for the male fish's penis is the priapium, a complex, muscular organ that looks like it's attached to the fish's chin. The priapium includes the urogential opening and the anus, as well as a bony rod and a sawlike hook, used to clutch on to the female during mating, the researchers said. The female fish's genital opening is also located at her throat.

Singapore did not Sink on 19 March 2011

With Disasters frequency on the increase in our century of today, speculations and worries of the sinking of Singapore began by some group of concern communities.

However Singapore did not Sink when 19th of March Year 2011 arrived ===========================================================

19 March 2011 'Supermoon' Trigger Natural Disasters? On March 19, the moon will swing around Earth more closely than it has in the past 18 years, lighting up the night sky from just 221,567 miles (356,577 kilometers) away.

On top of that, it will be full. And one astrologer believes it could inflict massive damage on the planet. Richard Nolle, a noted astrologer who runs the website astropro.com, has famously termed the upcoming full moon at lunar perigee (the closest approach during its orbit) an "extreme supermoon.

" When the moon goes super-extreme, Nolle says, chaos will ensue: Huge storms, earthquakes, volcanoes and other natural disasters can be expected to wreak havoc on Earth. (It should be noted that astrology is not a real science, but merely makes connections between astronomical and mystical events.) But do we really need to start stocking survival shelters in preparation for the supermoon?

The question is not actually so crazy. In fact scientists have studied related scenarios for decades. Even under normal conditions, the moon is close enough to Earth to make its weighty presence felt: It causes the ebb and flow of the ocean tides. The moon's gravity can even cause small but measureable ebbs and flows in the continents, called "land tides" or "solid Earth tides," too. The tides are greatest during full and new moons, when the sun and moon are aligned either on the same or opposite sides of the Earth.

According to John Vidale, a seismologist at the University of Washington in Seattle and director of the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network, particularly dramatic land and ocean tides do trigger earthquakes. "Both the moon and sun do stress the Earth a tiny bit, and when we look hard we can see a very small increase in tectonic activity when they're aligned," Vidale told Life's Little Mysteries, a sister site to SPACE.com. At times of full and new moons, "you see a less-than-1-percent increase in earthquake activity, and a slightly higher response in volcanoes." The effect of tides on seismic activity is greatest in subduction zones such as the Pacific Northwest, where one tectonic plate is sliding under another. William Wilcock, another seismologist at the University of Washington, explained:

"When you have a low tide, there's less water, so the pressure on the seafloor is smaller. That pressure is clamping the fault together, so when it's not there, it makes it easier for the fault to slip." According to Wilcock, earthquake activity in subduction zones at low tides is 10 percent higher than at other times of the day, but he hasn't observed any correlations between earthquake activity and especially low tides at new and full moons. Vidale has observed only a very small correlation. What about during a lunar perigee?

Can we expect more earthquakes and volcanic eruptions on March 19, when the full moon will be so close?

Executive Marina Ab. Jalil, who works on the 12th floor of Menara BHL on Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, was called back to her office to witness the ‘strange phenomenon’.

“My boss, who comes from Beijing, called me to tell me that he and another colleague were seeing snow out the window.

“I was driving at the time and thought he was joking. Since when does it snow in Malaysia? However, when I got back to the office, I did see white things falling with the rain,” she said.
Marina, 36, described the falling particles as dust-like with a cotton texture.

Will it Snow in Malaysia, KUALA LUMPUR ?

With the cool atmosphere surrounding Malaysia, it’s expected that snow will occur soon. Local scientists said that frequent drops of temperature will eventually lead to a new season in Malaysia – Winter!

According to a local weather specialist, Ken Wooi of Malaysian Meteorological Department, the Malaysia climate change has been drastic these days. “It’s always cool, cloudy sky and little sun ray. I think it’s gonna snow!”

As a result of this research, precautions have been taken to prevent transportation disruptions in Malaysia. Albeit the lack of experience when dealing with Winter, the Ministry of Defense released a statement: “Malaysia Boleh Survive!”
