Psychic Phenomena: Common Sense Questions that Require Answers

Why are the investigations into the strange happenings that we are shown on TV always done at night? With of course the artificial spooky conditions and lighting thrown in and NEVER total adequate video/audio coverage of the full area under so-called investigation? And why is it impossible for the viewer of the programs to make sense of the recordings of the spooks’ voices without the presenters (so-called investigators) having to reveal what exactly the voice recording says?

How do the spirits or whatever know the location or time to find the mediums or deceased's family so the messaging/conversing/contacting can take place?

Why don't the psychics get the messages/information from the departed or from wherever properly from the outset? Why the need to ask more questions for a more detailed message?

Why don’t the psychics interrogate the spirits during the contacts about what they do on the “other side” to keep busy and about the details and circumstances on the “other side” and to obtain answers also to questions like those posed here?

Where does the idiotic idea come from that the spirits of some dead are still roaming around on this earthly plane because they don’t realize they have physically died and hence need
assistance from mediums to pass on further? Spirits can’t be SO utterly stupid!!! Nobody can be so dumb that you will not realize after a while that you must be dead. Didn’t they at least at some stage see their dead physical bodies being separate from their new “spiritual” existence?

The Dream of Reality

By: Sandra Carrington-Smith

Someone once asked me how I can tell the difference between reality and fantasy. What if—this person asked—what we perceive as “reality” is indeed a dream, something made out by our subconscious, and we aren’t really living it after all but only believing we are?

That question got me thinking. Indeed, is it possible that we aren’t living at all, and we are just dreaming our lives? Could we be caught in a very sophisticated dream state science hasn’t been able to identify yet, a state of the art virtual life our spirit is “living” to understand certain concepts? After all, dreams are a tool our minds use to organize thoughts.

Of course, this would be a discussion, which could go off in many different tangents, but one of the things that are interesting to ponder is what we perceive as reality and what we perceive as illusion. Since early childhood, we are taught that ‘real” things must be measured through the five senses, and nothing which can’t be confirmed in a controlled environment should be considered real. Nothing is further from the truth. Physical attraction, for example, can be analyzed through physical signs, but true love can’t; connecting hands can be seen by others, but spiritual or emotional connection—although just as real and powerful as holding hands with someone—cannot be fully proven.

Very often, what we perceive as real through our taught patterns of rational thinking is in fact just something we have learned in our environment; if we were raised by different people, in a different society, or with different values, we would likely rationalize events differently. In the western world especially, we have come to associate our identity with what we have. The more we physically “own”—beauty, financial affluence, friends—the better we feel about ourselves. We perceive the golden ones as having everything they desire because they deserve it; if we don’t have those things, then we aren’t worth our own self-love or the love of others.

Having is not as important as being. Each of us is a unique aspect of creation, and as such we are indispensable, regardless of what we have or don’t have. Jesus himself had nothing, yet His passage on earth is still touching people two thousand years later. By the time we leave this earthly plane, what will count will be whatever we have done for others, not what we have done for ourselves. We can’t aspire to elevate our souls until we are able to detach from the rational illusion of being what we have.

We can certainly joke around and say we are living a dream, but unfortunately, for many, the dream is a nightmare; at least until they awaken, and realize that reality can only be found at the core and Armani isn’t the one who designed it.

6 Signs That You Might Be Psychic

By Stephen Wagner, About.com Guide

If you've always suspected that you have extrasensory perception, here are six signs that you indeed might be psychic

THOSE WHO HAVE made a lifetime of the study of psychic phenomena suspect that most, if not all of us are psychic to one degree or another. I'm sure most of us can point to events in our lives that indicate instances of telepathy (communication of thoughts) or precognition (knowing what is going to happen). Perhaps it's only happened once or a few times.

Perhaps, however, it happens to you quite frequently. Can you then be considered truly, strongly psychic? Here are six signs to look for.

1. You know the phone is going to ring and who is calling

We have all experienced this phenomenon, and when it happens once in awhile we can chalk it up to coincidence. Or perhaps there are people who call you regularly at expected times. Those instances we can dismiss.

But have you ever sensed a phone call from someone totally unexpected - perhaps someone you haven't heard from in years? Then the phone rings and it is that person! This could be an indication of the psychic phenomenon known as precognition - knowing something before it happens. And if this kind of thing happens on a fairly regular basis, you might be psychic.

2. You know your child, or someone else very close to you, is in trouble

We all worry about the safety our loved ones, especially when they are separated from us. Quite naturally, parents carry a deep concern about their children when they are at school, off with other children, or away on a trip. But we temper this worry or concern (or try to) with reason and an acknowledgment that our loved ones cannot always be under our supervision.

There have been many cases, however, in which a parent knows that her child has been injured or is in trouble. This is no ordinary worry. The feeling is so intense and persistent that the parent is compelled to check on the child - and sure enough, there has been an accident. Such a psychic connection has been documented between parent and child, spouses and partners, siblings and, of course, twins. If you have had such as experience, you might be psychic.

3. You know a place before you go to it

Perhaps you have had the experience or going to a person's house that you've never been to before, yet everything about it is familiar. This can happen when house shopping, too. You know exactly where every room is, what it looks like, and how it is decorated. You may even have knowledge of tiny details, such as chipped paint or unusual light fixtures. Yet you know you have never been there before.

It could be that you have been to the place before and have forgotten. Or perhaps this is a case of déjà vu - that eerie feeling that we've done or seen an exact thing before. But déjà vu is usually a fleeting feeling about a brief exchange of words, gestures or sights. It is rarely prolonged or vividly detailed. (See the book The Déjà Vu Enigma by Marie D. Jones and Larry Flaxman.) So if you have this knowing about a place you never been to before, you might be psychic.

4. You have prophetic dreams

We all dream, and we all have a variety of dreams about people we know, famous people, and even perhaps things that are going on in the world. So it stands to reason that just by chance we will have a dream about someone or something that later comes to pass (to one degree or another) in real life.

But do you often have dreams about yourself, friends and family, or even world events that soon come to pass in detail in real life? Prophetic dreams like this are reportedly often different than normal dreams. They are more lucid, vivid, detailed, and compelling. If so, you should write down these dreams right after you have them because you don't want to forget them, and you want to have a record of them – and they can be evidence that you might be psychic.

5. You can sense or know something about an object (or person) just by touching it

Have you ever picked up an object that didn't belong to you and you were overcome with a knowledge about that object – it's history and who it belonged to? Likewise, have you shook the hand of a new acquaintance and instantly known all about them – where they're from, what they do and what they are like?

It could be that you are just a highly perceptive person who can deduce information about an object or person just by looking at them and touching them. But if you are able to provide many accurate details about these things that you would otherwise have no possible way of knowing, you might have the rare kind of extrasensory perception known as psychometry – and you might be psychic.

6. You regularly tell your friends what is going to happen to them – and it does

Do you have a habit of telling friends and family about specific experiences they are going to have? Do you sometimes warn them ahead of time about dangers or circumstances that would not be in their best interest? Are you right more often than not?

Because we know our friends and family well, it certainly is logical to assume that we can sometimes predict was might happen to them – both good and bad. This is simply because we know their personalities, their habits and even some of their plans and we can make reasonable guesses. This is not what we're talking about. We're talking about strong feelings that you have – that seem to come out of nowhere and are not based on anything you know about the person – about something that is about to happen to them. It's a powerful feeling and you are compelled to tell them about it, even warn them if necessary. If those events come to pass, you might be psychic.

Out of Body Experience – What Happens When You Leave Your Body?

by Steve G. Jones

An Out of Body Experience (OBE) is a deeply personal experience that can have profound effects. With the ability to change one’s outlook, deepen spirituality, and provide access to answers to life’s deepest questions, OBEs are a popular way to achieve enlightenment. There are several types of OBE and many ways in which to experience one. Depending on your goals and your willingness to practice, you can experience a variety of OBEs. Astral projection is one of the many types of OBE and is the one you are most likely to seek out on your own.

Types of Out of Body Experience

Involuntary — This type of OBE occurs quite by accident, and can happen with or without consciousness. They can be in the form of vivid dreams, after which you wake up tired. If there is consciousness of this type of OBE, you may wake up in the middle of a dream.

Voluntary — During this type of OBE, you will choose to have the experience. This can be done with or without consciousness. This type of OBE can be remote viewing, lucid dreams, or astral projection. Remote viewing is likely to be done without consciousness and astral projection is likely to be done with consciousness.

MTV hires psychic to accept award for Kurt Cobain

Picture is copyright to MTV

MTV must have really wanted to talk to Kurt Cobain — why else would the TV network have hired a psychic to contact the Nirvana frontman?

Did somebody say publicity stunt? No way — that doesn’t sound like MTV, home to critically acclaimed shows like “16 and Pregnant” and “Jersey Shore.”

MTV brought in psychic Fahrusha to channel Cobain so he could accept an O Award for best vintage viral video for the Nirvana song “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”

Did anyone tell MTV that there are two perfectly good — and, more importantly, alive — members of Nirvana still wandering around? Krist Novoselic is busy tweeting things, and Dave Grohl is singing in Foo Fighters.

Nevermind, MTV. (Nirvana pun not intended.) You go right ahead and channel Cobain.

Hollywood psychic claims to have made contact with Amy Winehouse

By Marissa Charles

Amy Winehouse has spoken from beyond the grave, according to a celebrity psychic – who claims to work with some of Tinseltown’s biggest names.

New Yorker Kimberly Padula’s claims come as a coroner determined that the tragic star drank herself to death.

Padula, who says that she is on the payroll of some of Hollywood’s most influential people, claims that she contacted Winehouse in September, two months after the Rehab singer died at the age of 27.

Talking about “going into” Winehouse’s body, she says: “I got her suffocating. I got her not breathing. There was [alcohol], for sure. I don’t get foul play, though.”

Padula also shockingly claims the London-born star blames herself for her demise, saying that she had a “death wish” and that, although she didn’t kill herself, she had considered suicide at times.

“She’s saying it’s her own fault [that she died],” the 37-year-old says. “She’s not blaming anybody. She’s saying she wasn’t strong enough…

“Her poor little heart couldn’t take it anymore. Her body was so f***** up, weak, deficient, not healthy at all. Anaemic. Not eating. Super-weak. Emaciated.

“It wasn’t fun how she died. It happened quickly, though. It wasn’t a long thing… She just stopped breathing.”

Padula says that she could see Winehouse’s face, as she allegedly communicated with the dead star and that – despite her short life – she is at peace and she suspects that her grandmother “helped her over”.

“Relieved is what I’m hearing,” she says when asked if Winehouse is happy. “She’s happy that her family’s taken care of now.”

The Scariest Games (For Halloween)

By Stephen Wagner, About.com Guide

Here are some of the scariest games for your paranormal parties. Some are so frightening, they shouldn't be played at all.

WE DON'T USUALLY think of games when we consider the paranormal. The paranormal is something to be investigated, researched and taken seriously, not trifled with in something as frivolous as what we'd consider a "game."

We're not talking about the harmless games children play at Halloween or even the various paranormal-themed action and role-playing computer games available. We're talking about the games that are played in the dark of night that truly can be paranormal in nature and have unexpected, even terrifying results.

Games such as "Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board," the Ouija board, "Bloody Mary" and spoon bending seem to be favorites of teenagers particularly. At parties, sleepovers and when the opportunity arises to sneak into an abandoned or rumored-to-be-haunted building, these games are very often played. Teens like them not only because they challenge the unknown, but also for the same reason they love horror and slasher movies - they like to be scared.

Adults and paranormal researchers usually discourage such games - particularly the Ouija and Bloody Mary - because of the negative psychological impact they can have on the participants. Whether the game players are merely scaring themselves or they really are tapping into negative realms, many researchers advise that these "games" are best left alone. And for that reason, we cannot recommend their practice. Light as a Feather and spoon bending are more harmless and may have a scientific basis, but some argue that any game that has elements of the unknown should be avoided.

People play them at their own risk.

LIGHT AS A FEATHER, STIFF AS A BOARD

This levitation game has been around for decades. I recall my sister telling me that she and her friends tried it at a teen party - and it worked.

The most common version of this "trick" requires at least five people. One person, the victim, lies relaxed on the floor with eyes closed. The other four participants surround her, one on each side, one at the head and one at the feet. Each of the participants places two fingers of each hand beneath the victim. With their eyes closed, they begin to chant, "Light as a feather… stiff as a board…" over and over. With just the slightest effort, the participants are able to raise the victim off the floor in what appears to be the defiance of gravity.

Does it work? In addition to my sister, I've heard from a number of other people who attest that it does. I have never witnessed it personally. Some contend that it can work with just three people, which would be even more astounding. There are also variations on this levitation trick involving a chair.

OUIJA BOARD

The Ouija is undoubtedly the most well-known paranormal game in the world, mainly because it can be found in just about any mainstream toy store. It's the commercial version of the "talking board," which may date back centuries.

For those who are unfamiliar with it, the Ouija is a game board on which are printed the letters of the alphabet and the words "yes," "no" and "goodbye." Two players place their fingers lightly on a planchette or pointer, then ask questions. The pointer then seems to magically slide around the board, spelling out answers.

While some contend that the movement of the pointer is just the result of unconscious effort by the participants, or the "ideomotor effect," (see the article, "Ouija: How Does It Work?"), members of various religious groups are joined by many paranormal researchers in warning that the Ouija may indeed be opening a door to the spirit realm. Dark and sinister forces, they say, can enter our dimension through this door, sometimes with chillingly negative consequences. (See "Tales of the Ouija" for some of these experiences from readers.)

Because of this possible negative impact, many researchers advise that the Ouija should not be used under any circumstances. Others say that it can be used safely if a proper "cleansing" is done before and after its use, or if used under the guidance of an experienced medium.

BLOODY MARY

The conjuring of Bloody Mary has been a favorite way for teenagers, girls in particular, to scare themselves silly. The appearance of the Bloody Mary spirit has become the stuff of urban legend, yet many have testified that she really does appear.

Basically, the ritual goes like this: stand in a darkened or lightless room where there is a mirror. Stare into the mirror and chant "Bloody Mary" 13 times. The gruesome spirit of Bloody Mary will appear behind you in the mirror.

There are many variations on the ritual, any of which a brave teenage girl will try, usually on a dare. Sometimes a lighted candle is required in the dark room. You must chant the name three times, six times, nine times - even up to 100 times, depending on whom you ask. Another variation is that you must spin slowly in place while you chant Bloody Mary's name, glancing in the mirror with each turn.

An excellent article by Patty A. Wilson in the June 2005 issue of FATE magazine gives the complete history of the Bloody Mary legend, saying that the most likely origin is the life of Mary Stuart. Also known as Mary Queen of Scots in 16th century England, she was involved in many plots, intrigues and murder. She was executed in 1587, and it is her bloody corpse that appears in the mirror when beckoned.

Yet another tradition says that the evil spirit is none other than Satan's spouse. (I didn't even know he was seeing anyone!)

Although the biggest worry with Bloody Mary is that the participant will succeed in scaring herself into hysterics, we occasionally hear stories about people who really did see Bloody Mary in the mirror. Usually these tales come through a friend of a friend and are, of course, impossible to verify.

SPOON BENDING

Psychic Uri Geller is most often credited with the phenomenon of spoon bending. While skeptics claim this feat is nothing more than magician's sleight of hand, others say that it is a psychic phenomenon that just about anyone can accomplish.

It's so easily done that spoon-bending parties have been held. On these occasions, the host brings a load of spoons and forks (forks are probably used more often than spoons because it's more dramatic to get the tines all twisted), usually bought cheap from a thrift store. The party goers are asked to choose a utensil they believe will bend, and sometime during the course of the event, most of the spoons and forks indeed do bend and twist, seemingly in defiance of all logic and the laws of physics.

In short, the method goes like this: Invite people to the party that you know and like. Create a relaxed atmosphere of fun and laughter. Ask each participant to choose a utensil that they believe "wants" to bend. (They don't all want to bend.) It's even suggested that you ask the fork, "Will you bend for me?" Then hold the fork vertically and shout, "Bend! Bend!" Rub it gently with your fingers.

If the utensil does not begin to bend, divert your attention. Focus your attention on something else. Some even say that this inattention to the utensil is vital in getting it to bend. When it succeeds, the fork or spoon will bend easily. Contrary to popular belief, the utensil will not just start twisting of its own accord (although this has happened on rare occasions). Rather, the utensil becomes so malleable that it is quite easily bent and twisted with the hands using almost no effort - as if it were made of the softest metal.

Although I've never had any luck with bending spoons or forks (I've always tried it alone and not at a festive party), my wife was able to easily twist several forks into impossible shapes, as the photo on this page shows.

Have fun and don't take this stuff too seriously.

Steve Jobs Stalled Life-Saving Cancer Surgery to Visit Psychic Healer

By Alastair Stevenson | October 21, 2011 9:47 AM GMT

Walter Isaacson's forthcoming biography of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs reveals that the tech tycoon stalled his surgery, believing alternative treatments could cure his cancer.

According to the new authorized biography Jobs, against doctors' recommendations, after being diagnosed with cancer in October 2003 delayed surgery for nine months.

The biography goes on to describe how Jobs tried to combat the cancer using a number of "alternative" treatments. These included a vegan diet, acupuncture, herbal remedies and even, most bizarrely, consulting a psychic. According to the biography after having the surgery in July 2004, Jobs regretted his decision to wait so long.

"'I really didn't want them to open up my body, so I tried to see if a few other things would work,' he told me years later with a hint of regret," Isaacson writes.

Isaacson's biography is set to hit stores Monday. The book was originally scheduled to be released much later in the year, but production was pushed forward following Jobs' untimely death.

The Art of Thoughtography: Creating Visual Impressions with the Mind

by Micah Hanks

The mind is perhaps the most wonderful, mysterious element to our human existence. Like a disembodied cosmic centrifuge, its workings dictate not only our actions, attitudes, and interaction with others, spreading our intentions and ideas throughout the world around us, but also functions a great deal in terms of shaping our very reality on an individual basis.

From within its many mysterious alcoves, subtle hints at even greater hidden powers that may exist within the mind have can be glimpsed as well. For centuries, psychics and mentalists have claimed to be able to access some of these clandestine abilities; a few individuals even claim to be able close their eyes, focus on a particular event or occurrence in their lives, and manifest aspects of it physically.

This sort of thought-projection can occur in a variety of ways. In the Hindu tradition, the notion of a tulpa involves physical manifestations–even supernatural beings–whose manifestation erupts from the intense, focused meditation of the yogi initiate. However, another attempt at manifesting the thoughts of others had its genesis a little further East during the early part of the twentieth century.

In 1910, Tokyo University psychology Professor Tomokichi Fukarai began an odd series of experiments with various women claiming to have clairvoyant abilities, in which attempts were made at recording their mental images directly onto film. The first of these women (barring a series of failed experiments with an earlier subject) was Ikuko Nagao, and the two undertook attempts at developing what Fukarai called nensha, meaning “spirit photography.”

Poor Nagao’s fate would end up turning for the worst, however. Soon after she and the Professor had undertaken their experiments, she began to develop a fever, which would eventually take her life. It was speculated at the time that pressure from the skeptical public, among which were a number of individuals accusing her of being a fraud, may have contributed to her declining health.

Nonetheless, with her passage, Tomokichi remained vigilant in his belief that direct transfer of thought onto film could be achieved; within a few months, he had begun to seek other psychics by whom his work might be supplemented. By 1913, he had become acquainted with psychics Sadako Takahashi and Mita Koichi, which resulted in the publication of a book detailing his findings, titled simply Clairvoyance and Thoughtography.

In years since, a number of other alleged “thoughtographers” have come and gone, among them famous mentalist Uri Gellar, who claimed to have procured his unique achievements by pressing the lens of a camera, with cap closed over the aperture, against his forehead and “projecting” the images forth onto the film within the camera (and of course, Gellar’s claims, admittedly rather outrageous, were decried profusely by skeptics).

Is it indeed possible to project “images” that stem solely from within the mind onto the photographic medium? If so, how exactly might this occur? One theory put forth by researcher John Joe McFadden of the University of Surrey, UK, deals with the idea that consciousness itself may in fact exist within an electromagnetic field produced by the brain.

Sense traditional film cameras work by allowing light through an aperture onto photosensitive paper, and light is one portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, the notion that electromagnetism may have something to do with such claims–especially in terms of conscious thought projections being focused and imprinted onto film–might at least garner some consideration, though speculation along these lines still does little to explain exactly how it might occur.

Scientists’ ‘Mind Reading Device’ Matches YouTube Videos to MRI Scans

By Anne Witter | September 23

A scientific way to read minds is a work in progress, but technology has moved forward yet again, matching YouTube videos to blood flow analysis by MRI scanners, The Telegraph (UK) reports.

Researchers were able to recreate a moving picture similar to the real footage being watched by their study's participants.

This study says there is possibility that technology can soon translate people's subconscious thoughts in dreams and memories onto screen, even as it cannot read actual thoughts that soon. In fact, if the technology is further developed, it could even be used to explore the minds of stroke patients, experts said.

Researchers from the University of California, Berkeley, used MRI scanners to monitor the blood flow in people's brains as they watched films, such as Madagascar 2, Pink Panther 2 and Star Trek. Then scientists created a computer program which could accurately guess what the monitored person was looking at.

In another round of testing, participants watched Hollywood film trailers, and computer was able to produce an approximate version of what they were watching, by scanning a library of random YouTube videos, finding the most similar clips and blending them together with brain scan interpretations.

Prof. Jack Gallant, one of the study's authors, said: "We're trying to reconstruct the movie that was seen by searching through a large library of completely different, random movies... This is a major leap toward reconstructing internal imagery. We are opening a window into the movies in our minds."

The current resulting video is blurry due to just 18 million seconds of footage in the program's database, but the researchers said expanding the size of the program's video library could solve the issue.

The study, published in the Current Biology journal, is said to be the first experiment to successfully interpret brain signals as they react to pictures in motion.

10 Ways to Develop Psychic Abilities

How often have you told a caller or someone you ran into, "I was just thinking about you!" Do you ever know who is on the phone before you answer it without looking at Caller ID? Do you often guess what someone is going to say next? Do you invariably wake up two minutes before the alarm goes off? Do your hunches ever come true?

Everyone has some psychic tendencies. We are all born with psychic abilities, but society conditions us to hide them. Our rational, logical left brain is encouraged at the expense of the intuitive right brain. Indonesia's Mount Lokon Erupts - Right on Schedule!

Mount Lokon, a volcano in central Indonesia, erupted in fury late Thursday, scattering nearby residents and wreaking havoc. But, because volcanologists have become so skilled at predicting eruptions, there were no fatalities. And none are expected.

For more than a week the mountain has been rumbling and scientists warned that an eruption was imminent. In the past such warnings may have gone unheeded until it was too late.

But because geologists now have such advanced prediction equipment at their disposal, and because of vast experience in other parts of the world, this time local officials were able to evacuate the area long before the mountaintop was blown away by the massive explosion.

August 11th, 2011 Tsunami Prediction

My name is Jay Essex. Have you ever wondered where prophecies come from and why so many are wrong? Some of them are made up by people wanting attention. There are those with gifts who receive message from Souls or Spirit on The Other Side, Heaven, or what ever title you prefer. There's also a thing called The Akashic Records there. It's a living set of documents containing everything that has, is, and will happen and be said on this planet. There's also one for the Universe but that's for another article.

With this information available, why are so many prophecies still incorrect either partially or completely? It's the same thing with individual divination. These blessed people, helping others at little expense, receive their information from Spirit Guides, other Souls back home, or sometimes even Angels. Very rarely, almost never, is prophecy direct from Mother or Father Creator. This is where the accuracy issues often come from.

As many of you are becoming aware, reincarnation is simply a fact. All of you have to write your life plan with your Spirit Guide while on the other side and have it approved by the Council and finally Mother Creator, who is the feminine aspect of The One Creator, God, Source, or which ever name you prefer. Once Mother approves it you're in a baby waiting to be born.

Mission Incredible: Al Qaeda Train Terror Plot Predicted by Secret Psychic Spies

An incredible development in the leaking of documents from the raid on Osama Bin Laden's compound reveals that a plot had been planned for 2009 in the west. But that information had already been revealed due to information derived solely from psychic impulses generated through the Defense Intelligence Administration and released through the investigative program keeping tabs on the project.

When we first heard that a series of terror attacks on trains in 2009 had been planned, the date came and went with nothing of the sort occurring. The information was readily dismissed by western media outlets due to its source - information leaked from a spy network employing purely psychic means of information gathering. These psychic spies had spoken of a terror plot taking place in 2009 after remaining silent for some time. After the event information was not always forthcoming on why the prediction had failed. And by 2011 the event was all but forgotten.

But the site STARpod.org and PsycheLeaks resurfaced the information with breaking details that suddenly put a story that came out in 2009 in context now with new information confirmed on CNN and other major media outlets in 2011. The Al Qaeda terror plot had been planned, just as the psychics said - and was subsequently abandoned. This vindication for the Stargate program may mean future explorations into the power of human consciousness in the future.

7 Stargates, Vortex Spots, Portals And Energy Worm Holes You Can Visit

by Timothy Green Beckley

Ancient people knew that wherever the earth’s energy gathered into a vortex was a sacred place. They knew – and scientists are beginning to understand once again today – that we are surrounded by a tremendous amount of energy that has been provided for us by the Creator. It’s available for the asking if we could only learn to harness the forces of the universe in a positive way. Some refer to it as the cosmic flow. We could enter Stargates, learning to travel through space and time, and perhaps power our homes and automobiles at a fraction of the cost of what we spend today.

There are certain places you can “feel it in the air” – where the atmosphere prickles with electricity making your hair stand on end. There are certain sacred spots where the earth vibrates at a higher level. These are earth’s vortex regions, its gateways to other dimensions.

Here is a list of some of the spots which are so mystical that thousands visit them annually so as to mingle with other worldly intelligence. Of course, one has to go to these places very gingerly, very carefully, as there are certain “hazards” which might confront the novice along their spiritual journey.

1. Sedona

Located in the State of Arizona, in the Great South West, Sedona is the Mecca for New Age orientated travelers. Here for several centuries Native Americans have performed shamanistic rituals drawing on the power generated by the red rocks said to have great healing properties. Landmarks such as Bell and Cathedral Rocks are said to be doorways to another dimension.

UFOs have been known to dot the sky and strange beings from other realms often materialize and are caught on film. One of the “hot spots” for UFO sightings known as the Bradshaw Ranch has been purchased by the Department of Land Management and is now “off limits” to tourists. Celebrities such as Shirley MacLaine can often be seen strolling the streets of Sedona. There are many art galleries and metaphysical centers to occupy a person’s time when not doing a bit of backpacking.

2. Bermuda Triangle

Hundreds of planes and ships have mysteriously vanished in this swirling vortex of ocean situated between Florida, Puerto Rico and Bermuda. Flying into the area, veteran pilots have often reported their navigation equipment going wild. Mysterious balls of light have been seen descending and shooting out of the ocean. Christopher Columbus even reported strange aerial displays in the captain’s log.

From time to time, mysterious fogs roll in to land from out at sea and individuals report being drawn almost into a hypnotic trance. Though most scientists are skeptical, there are others who believe such an unknown power can be harnessed and used to our advantage. This is a true Stargate – but some who have entered have not returned to tell the tale.

3. The Great Pyramid

Egypt’s Pyramid of Giza is the largest structure in the world built by man. Archaeologists contend that the Great Pyramid was used as a burial chamber for the pharoahs. They don’t find it a miracle that the blocks of stone weigh many tons each, and it seems impossible even for hundreds of slaves to move them into their proper position. Believers in the Ancient Astronaut theory say the construction of the Great Pyramid might have come about with the help of extraterrestrials.

Arcane researchers have presented many other views including a variety of geophysical, astronomical, numerical, and prophetic interpretations made by explorers, authors, and visitors to the Great Pyramid over the last 200+ years. These interpretations run the range of topics such as the Great Pyramid having been used as a sundial, to the calculation of the speed of light, to the prediction of the exact dates of the birth of Adam, the Exodus, and the birth, baptism, and crucifixion of Jesus. It is perhaps the most recognizable vortex on Earth.

4. Stonehenge

There are various theories as to who actually constructed Stonehenge, a huge circular monolith located on Salisbury Plane in England. Going back many hundreds of years, we know that the Druids used it for their religious ceremonies and that it acts as a huge sundial and calendar. Tourists flock here especially during the equinox to have their vibrations lifted.

Some have reported “missing time,” voyages out of the body. A rather new phenomenon associated with the region around Stonehenge is the unexplained appearance of crop circles consisting of mysterious, compelling designs that appear overnight in fields of grain in the same area in the form of circles, intricate geometric symbols and glyphs. (In the UK, they're actually known as “corn circles.”) For a long time one of the best spots to see a UFO was in the nearby town of Warminister, where nightly skywatches were organized.

5. Mount Shasta

For the more adventuresome who are willing to go out on their own and disappear from society for a while. Lemurians and survivors of other "Lost Civilizations" are said to roam the mountain freely and occasionally wander into town to trade gold for supplies. A strange race of “little people” appear at night to collect edibles and return to their secret cavern homes.

Native Americans residing in the backwoods say they have not only heard the screams of Bigfoot, but have seen these hairy creatures close-up! Here, some have claimed to have visited Telos, the capitol of the Inner Earth occupied by the Ascended Masters of Wisdom. There are also accounts of miraculous healings, including those by folks whose eyesight has been regenerated after being struck by mysterious blue beams of light coming from inside the mountain.

6. Mojave Desert

Stretching for hundreds of square miles, the Mojave Desert is said to draw UFOs like a magnet. Many of the early reports of meeting with human-looking aliens took place in spots like Joshua Tree and at Giant Rock, one of nature’s largest standing rocks where crystal partials are imbedded, increasing the proper cosmic vibrations suitable for contact with other dimensions.

Many ghost towns dot the area, left over from when prospectors flocked to the region in a frenzy for gold. There are chilling tales of abandoned mines, mysterious creatures, spook lights and even a haunted Opera House in the middle of Death Valley. One of the most scenic settings in the world, Mother Nature offers all the complements necessary for peaceful trance-like states or for channeling.

7. Hoia-Baciu Forest

There is even a magical forest in Romania. The Hoia-Baciu Forest is, for sure, one of the country’s most famous locales, where a series of inexplicable phenomena have been investigated and analyzed. It is called “the Bermuda Triangle of Transylvania.” As one website (juliasromaniaguide.com/hoiabaciuforest/) explains it, “The Hoia-Baciu Forest keeps on being fascinating, especially because of what the witnesses say about the strangest physical sensations, the lights in the middle of the night, the shapes, forms, the strange appearances of human faces, the voices and the different colors.

The place has shortly become famous among the paranormal and esoteric events specialists, entire teams of famous scientific explorers from Germany, France, USA and Hungary visiting the Hoia-Baciu Forest even during the Communism and managing to catch some inexplicable phenomena.”

Remote viewing Tibetan monks see Extra Terrestrial powers saving the World from destroying itself in 2012

Remote viewing is nothing new in Tibetan monasteries. For thousands of years remote viewing in the middle of other spiritual activities have dominated Tibetan culture. What some Indian tourists came to learn from a few Tibetan monasteries under the current Chinese rule is extremely alarming and fascinating.

According to these tourists remote viewers are seeing world powers in the course of self-destruction. They also see that the world will not be destroyed. Between now and 2012 the world super powers will continue to engage in regional wars. Terrorism and covert war will be the main problem. In world politics something will happen in and around 2010. At that time the world powers will threaten to destroy each other.

Between 2010 and 2012, the whole world will get polarized and prepare for the ultimate dooms day. Heavy political maneuvers and negotiations will take place with little progress.

Baba Vanga's Nuclear Prediction

The elderly psychic and seer, Baba Vanga was one of the most famous psychics in her region. The psychic, who made a number of predictions is receiving new attention after a number of her claims turned out to be more accurate than once thought - at least according to certain interpretations.

But what has she predicted, and what will this tell us of the future that may face us all?

First, let's take a look at one of the misses that Vanga declared for 2010. Though some have maintained that we are in the early stages of a global conflict that has been unfolding, most who have reviewed Vanga's work consider this a miss. But there is another interpretation to the text that has been causing quite a stir.

What if she was correct, but this third world war is one of a different sort? Could the third world war be one of economic policies? An armed conflict may eventually result in some regions, but if we bear with this possibility, the next few events make more sense than before.

In 2011, Vanga predicted nuclear fallout would blanket the northern hemisphere Vanga's prediction then goes on to say that the Earth will then be devastated by the radioactive cloud resulting in massive skin cancer across the globe. By 2014, Vanga suggests that most of Europe would not be inhabited.

Interestingly enough, the nuclear fallout cloud from the Fukushima nuclear power plant has spread throughout the Northern Hemisphere according to the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization in very small trace amounts. Of course this is nothing even approaching the level of radiation expected by Vanga. And it didn't result from nuclear war. But how strange is it really that Vanga says a nuclear catastrophe will strike in 2011 and it just happens to be the same year the world may be facing one of the greatest nuclear challenges it has ever faced?

She also suggests that by 2018 China would become the new global superpower. If China were to become the new superpower as so many are suggesting, when would it most likely occur? This is a matter that economists and historians are still battling out. If China were to become a global superpower, how would it be announced, and would there be any official announcement in the first place? But then there is the fact that we are now talking about it. When Baba Vanga died in 1996, her followers wept and openly feared the world that would be coming in the next few decades.

Astral Projection: You Can Do It Too

Everyone can have an out-of-body experience, says expert Jerry Gross - in fact, you probably have. In this interview, Gross explains OBEs, what happens and how to begin your adventure

When noted out-of-body teacher and practitioner Jerry Gross wants to travel long distances, he doesn't bother with the time and expense of catching a plane. He just uses a different kind of plane, and travels there astrally - unless, of course, he is teaching one of his many classes and workshops on astral projection, also known as OBE or out-of-body experience.

According to Gross, the ability to leave the body has been with him since childhood. Yet, rather than regarding this as a special gift, he believes that this is an inherent ability that can be developed by anyone. In the following article, Gross discusses the out-of-body experience with freelance writer and former workshop participant Sandy Jones.

Jones: What is astral projection? How would you describe it?

Gross: Astral projection is the ability to leave your body. Everyone leaves their body at night, but before they do leave, they have to put the physical mind to sleep. Most people don't remember this, but when the physical mind is asleep, the subconscious takes over, and this is usually when you do your astral projection. In other words, everybody does it, but they just don't remember doing it.

Jones: What is your earliest recollection of doing this? What was it like?

Gross: I can remember doing this clear back to when I was about four years old. I never lost the ability to astral project, and kept it throughout my whole life now. Everyone is born with this ability. If you think back, you can probably recall having dreams of being somewhere, but as you got older, you lost the ability. What I'm trying to teach is that you can do this at will.
