Real-Life Mutant Girl Causes Things around Her to Catch on Fire

A yet unnamed 11-year-old girl from Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City has been making headlines in Asia, for her alleged uncontrollable power to set things around her on fire.

According to Vietnamese website Ngoisao, on May 12, a young girl living in the Tan Binh district of Ho Chi Minh has burned down almost the entire third floor of her family’s home. Her father says the child did not have access to any fire-inducing objects, and that the fire was caused by the super-energy in her body. How many times have we heard that one before, right? But while that may sound like the exaggerations of a parent looking for media attention, this is apparently not the first time this Vietnamese girl has caused things to burst into fire just by going near them.

The unnamed girl’s parents say they’ve noticed her peculiar abilities about a month ago, when their home’s electrical network underwent repeated short-circuiting. Then the power outlets around the house burst into fire when their daughter came near them, and at one time she even burned a corner of the toilet seat. What’s even more intriguing is they claim the same phenomenon repeated itself when they took the girl to other places, as well. For example, during a vacation to Vung Tau beach, she burned the hotel room. The 11-year-old told Vietnamese media that on occasions, even her clothes catch on fire for no apparent reason.

Li Ching-Yuen, The Amazing 250 Year-Old Man

When the Chinese herbalist Li Ching-Yuen died in 1933, newspapers around the world reported the news of his passing. According to his own testimony, he was 197 years old.

An investigation, however, suggested Li had forgotten his actual birthday. Official government records recorded the birth year as 1677, making him 256. Here is a copy of the obituary as printed in the New York Times on May 6, 1933:

LI CHING-YUN DEAD; GAVE HIS AGE AS 197.

“Keep a Quiet Heart, Sit Like a Tortoise, Sleep Like a Dog,” His Advice for a Long Life.

Reported to have buried 23 wives and had 180 descendents – sold herbs for first 100 years.

Peiping, May 5 – Li Ching-Yun, a resident of Kaihsien, in the Province of Szechwan, who contended that he was one of the world’s oldest men and said he was born in 1736 – which would make him 197 years old – died today.

A Chinese dispatch from Chungking telling of Mr. Li’s death said he attributed his longevity to peace of mind and that it was his belief every one could live at least a century by attaining inward calm.

Compared with estimates of Li Ching-yun’s age in previous reports from China the above dispatch is conservative. In 1930 it was said Professor Wu Chung-chien, dean of the department of Education in Minkuo University, had found records showing Li was born in 1677 and that Imperial Chinese Government congratulated him on his 150th and 200th birthdays.

A correspondent of The New York Times wrote in 1928 that many of the oldest men in Li’s neighborhood asserted their grandfathers knew him as boys and that he was then a grown man.

According to the generally accepted tales told in his province. Li was able to read and write as a child, and by his tenth birthday had traveled in Kansu, Shansi, Tibet, Annam, Siam and Manchuria gathering herbs. For the first hundred years he continued at this occupation. Then he switched to selling herbs gathered by others.

Wu Pei-fu, the warlord, took Li into his house to learn the secret of living to 250. Another pupil said Li told him to “keep a quiet heart, sit like a tortoise, walk sprightly like a pigeon and sleep like a dog.”

Mystery of the Middle Eastern Girls Who Cry Stones

Strange phenomena or an elaborate hoax from the Middle East, young girls who expel multiple stones from their eyes?

Posted below four video news reports from India, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan of young girls expelling multiple stones from their eyes. This week India’s TV 9 Pavada Purana news posted videos on Youtube of two young girls in India ‘crying’ stones from her eyes.

India TV 9 news report, February 13, 2012, one of two Indian girls who ‘cry’ stones:

Is this girl 7-yr-old Kura Nitya?

Metro News, November 17, 2011, Seven-year-old Indian girl Kura Nitya cries ‘tears’ of stone:

“According to a local newspaper, Kura has been excreting stones from her right eye for the last two weeks but doctors are not sure what is causing the phenomenon.

On average the young girl weeps between 12 to 25 stones a day. Nitya says she doesn’t feel any pain but her right eye swells before the stones drop out.

Her grandfather Gopal Reddy says he first noticed the strange happenings in October. ‘Initially, we thought it was some divine power and prayed to God for this phenomenon to stop,’ he told the Star online.

The girl’s parents have seen several different specialists but none have had an answer.

Ophthalmologist Dr Kalyan Chakaravarthy said Nitya was healthy and he could find no reason as to why she was weeping stones.”

Alien Hybrid Or Starchild Discovered In China?

A boy has stunned medics with his ability to see in pitch black with eyes that glow in the dark.

Doctors have studied Nong Youhui's amazing eyesight since his dad took him to hospital in Dahua, southern China, concerned over his bright blue eyes.

Dad Ling said: "They told me he would grow out of it and that his eyes would stop glowing and turn black like most Chinese people but they never did."

Medical tests conducted in complete darkness show Youhui can read perfectly without any light and sees as clearly as most people do during the day.

Could Nong Youhui be a Hybrid or Starchild? A new and growing generation of extraordinary and gifted children are springing up across our planet, is the human species evolving, or possibly our Extraterrestrial visitors tinkering with our DNA? As always you decide.

"I started eating bar soap after I was attracted to its smell and shape.

"After taking a small bite, I found it delicious and it has become a staple item in my diet.

"Seven months ago, I started eating talcum powder because of its smell. Now, I am able to finish two to three bottles of 100gm powder," he said.

Prahlad Jani - No Food 65 Years

"I feel no need for food and water," states Prahlad Jani, a seventy-six year old Indian ascetic who lives in a cave near the Ambaji temple in the state of Gujarat. Mr. Jani claims that he has not had food or fluids to drink for the last sixty-five years. At the age of seven years he left home in search of spiritual unfoldment. Jani states that at the age of eleven years he was blessed by a goddess.

He claims that since that blessing he has gained his sustenance from nectar that filters down through a hole in his palate, and has not passed urine or stools since then. Mr. Jani explained, "I get the elixir of life from the hole in my palate, which enables me to go without food and water." Almost daily Mr. Jani enters a state of Samadhi characterized by extreme bliss and enormous light and strength. He says that he has never experienced medical problems. He says that he did not speak for a period of forty-five years.

In November 2003, after over a year of coaxing, Prahlad Jani was finally persuaded to participate in a scientific research study. A medical research team of twenty-one specialists, headed by Dr. Sudhir V. Shah, had Prahlad Jani under twenty-four hours of observation for ten days at the Sterling Hospital in Ahmedabad. The team's research expertise included cardiology, neurology, urology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, renal function, pulmonary function, ENT analysis, psychiatry, general medicine, and other specialities.

A series of investigations were done on Mr. Jani in each of these areas according to a pre-determined protocol, and additional tests were carried out as per suggestions of the team. At the conclusion of their intensive investigations the team's doctors were left with an unexplained mystery, unable to disprove Prahlad Jani claims.

7 of the Weirdest Human Enigmas

By Stephen Wagner

MOST KIDS love reading the color funny papers on Sundays. As a kid, one of my favorite strips was "Ripley's Believe It or Not." It always featured some fantastic facts or coincidences. Often it would tell of people with unusual abilities, characteristics, or circumstances: a man with a birthmark in the shape of a perfect heart on his chest; a woman whose head was shaped like a Ming vase; twins with six ears between them. Stuff like that.

It makes interesting reading and, of course, I'm still fascinated by such amazing tales. Here are 7 of the strangest stories of most mysterious people of unknown origin, fate or astonishing, unexplained abilities.

1. The Green Children

In 1887, two small children were found alone near the town of Banjos, Spain. But these were no ordinary children who had been lost or abandoned by parents. They were discovered by field hands who were distracted from their work by frightened cries. Upon investigation, they found a small boy and girl, scared and crying, huddled near the entrance to a cave. Their language was unknown to the workers – it certainly wasn’t Spanish. More mysterious still, they wore clothes made of a strange metallic cloth… and their skin had an odd green tint.

After being taken to the village to be cared for, the boy soon died since it was difficult to get either of them to eat anything. But the girl survived, and when at last she was able to communicate in Spanish with her caregivers, she told them that she and her brother had come from a place that had no sun, but a land of perpetual twilight. When asked how they came to be at the cave, she said that they had heard a loud bang, were pushed through “something,” and then were in the cave.

2. A Modern Jonah

The Bible records the account of Jonah who was swallowed by a whale or a great fish, but was later freed from the beast. In 1891, a British sailor lived through the same fate. The seamen aboard the whaling ship The Star of the East struggled to kill a great sperm whale and bring it on board. In the battle between man and beast, two sailors disappeared. But when the whale’s stomach and liver were hoisted onto the deck of the ship, it was noticed that something was moving inside the stomach. Cutting open the stomach, the crew found James Bartley, one of the missing men, curled up, unconscious, but still alive.

3. The Disappearance of Bernardo Vazquez

Twenty-year-old Bernardo Vazquez was obsessed with the unknown and black magic, as well as getting rich. People who knew him in San Juan, Puerto Rico say he may have succeeded with a bizarre experiment that made him invisible. After consulting his books on the occult, he one day told his mother that he had learned how to become invisible – through a strange ritual involving a black cat, wood from an old coffin and a tin can. He believed that by boiling the cat and using a resulting bone to place under his tongue he could be invisible at will.

One night be barricaded himself in his room at the back of the house to carry out the ritual. His mother became concerned when he never came out, and she called the authorities. They had to break into his room where they found the disturbing remnants of his ritual – the burned wood and a disemboweled black cat. But Bernardo was nowhere to be found. Did he indeed become invisible… or did he vanish into the unknown?

4. Firestarter

Benedetto Supino’s astonishing and dangerous abilities came to public attention in the early 1980s, when he was just 10 years old. Benedetto, of Formia, Italy, could set things afire just by staring at them. More often, his power to start fires was involuntary, erupting merely by his presence. The first incident took place in 1982 in a dentist’s waiting room. Without cause or warning, the comic book Benedetto was reading suddenly caught fire.

One morning he was awakened by a fire in his own bed – his pajamas were in flames and the boy suffered severe burns. On another occasion, a small plastic object held in his uncle’s hands began to burn as Benedetto stared at it. Just about everywhere he went, furniture, paper, books and other items would start to smolder or burn. Some witnesses even claimed to see his hands glow at these moments.

5. The Delphos Wolf Girl

There are many stories of feral children – children who apparently have been raised in the wild, sometimes by animals and adopting animal-like behavior – but the story of the wolf girl sighted near Delphos, Kansas in the early 1970s is one of the strangest. Weirder still, it might have a UFO connection.

It began in July 1974 when reports began to come in of the sighting of a wild-looking girl of about 10 to 12 years of age. Witnesses said she had matted yellow hair and wore ragged red clothing. Upon being sighted, the girl would scamper away like an animal on all fours. During searches for the girl by authorities around the central Kansas town, some people were attacked and scratched by the girl.

The possible UFO connection actually begins two years earlier in 1971 when 16-year-old Ronald Johnson claimed to see a mushroom-shaped UFO land in a wooded area near Delphos. He further claimed that seeing the UFO had injured his eyes but had also given him psychic powers. It was during this time that he said he encountered a wild, blonde-haired girl who ran away from him on all fours. Was it the same girl… and was there a connection to the UFO?

6. Zana the Apewoman

Zana’s story is that of another feral female, but her story is quite different than others. While feral children are wild and animal-like in behavior but always human, Zana actually looked somewhat less than human. Discovered in the mid-1700s in the Russian province of Georgia, Zana, as she was named, had many ape-like features: thick arms, legs, and fingers, and she was covered with hair. Some have speculated that she was a survivor of the Neanderthal race… or perhaps a female Bigfoot… or some human/ape hybrid.

7. Defying Gravity and Belief

Daniel Dunglas Home may not be as familiar a name to us today as Harry Houdini, but perhaps he should be. Either he was one of the greatest psychics of the 19th Century, able to demonstrate remarkable (some say paranormal) feats, or he was one of the greatest magicians. At séances he could make heavy tables and chairs (often with people sitting in them) levitate. Under close observation he could place his hands and face into red-hot coals without harm. He could make himself grow and stretch up to 12 inches taller.

In his most famous demonstration, he is said to have floated out of a window of a four-story building and then appear outside an adjacent window, which he then climbed in, to the astonishment of his audience. Unlike many mediums of his day, Home welcomed scrutiny by scientists and skeptics. None were ever able to prove his feats were tricks or to explain how he accomplished them.

Flying/Levitating/Jumping in Modern Tibet

Beachcombing knows virtually nothing about Tibet and has rarely visited the country in this blog – though he does have some happy memories of reincarnation and Queen Victoria. However, he recently stumbled on a fascinating account of levitation or flying in the Himalayas that he could hardly pass by.

Our source is a western author, which is usually a bad sign, given that in the early 1900s Tibet was being Blavatskied and more generally being made into the magic lantern of spiritual types in Europe and the Americas. But our author was the real deal. She lived and travelled in Tibet in the 1920s. She was a French Buddhist – naturally – and was a first-class witness and a stimulating writer.

Flying Girl in Russian Woods

Here's what you'll see: A man, speaking in Russian, is out in the snow-covered woods with his dog, Tarzan. The dog chases after something and the man follows. They come across an adult who is watching a small girl who appears to by flying or levitating about 10 feet above him. When they realize the man is approaching, the girl drops to the ground and they run off.

As curious as this video is, we can't imagine that it is anything but a hoax for a number of reasons, the main one being that people cannot fly. Aside from that, what is the guy doing out in the woods with his video camera? Does he always videotape his walks with his dog? Okay, so it's a hoax -- but a rather clever and entertaining one. So the question I have for you is: How do you think they did it? Was it done with wires? Or was the levitation trick accomplished with video editing software. What do you think?

Monk shows off balls of steel

A Shaolin monk has appeared on the Chinese version of Britain's Got Talent - showing off his ability to withstand a kick to the groin.

Yong Hsueh, a practitioner of a rare martial art known as "steel crotch Kung Fu", appeared on the programme on CCTV, China Central Television.

He told the audience: "Steel crotch Kongfu is an ancient art, with roots stretching back to ancient China.

"It's a practice to strengthen and protect the male genital organs so there is less chance they are injured or incapacitated in battle."

Cross legged male members of the audience watched in shock as various members of the panel were invited to boot the monk - who simply bowed and smiled after each blow - between the legs.

The martial art is divided into hard crotch Kung Fu - and soft crotch Kung Fu.

The monk said the former could only be learned by a student that started in childhood - it involved pushing the testicles into the body where they could not be hurt.

But those who started later in life could still hope to master soft crotch Kung Fu which was also said to be good for improving the man's sex life.

Man claims to have had no food or drink for 70 years

Prahlad Jani is being held in isolation in a hospital in Ahmedabad, Gurjarat, where he is being closely monitored by India's defence research organization, who believe he may have a genuine quality which could help save lives.

He has now spent six days without food or water under strict observation and doctors say his body has not yet shown any adverse effects from hunger or dehydration.

Mr Jani, who claims to have left home aged seven and lived as a wandering sadhu or holy man in Rajasthan, is regarded as a 'breatharian' who can live on a 'spiritual life-force' alone. He believes he is sustained by a goddess who pours an 'elixir' through a hole in his palate. His claims have been supported by an Indian doctor who specializes in studies of people who claim supernatural abilities, but he has also been dismissed by others as a "village fraud."

66 minutes sets 'human steaming" record

KEDAH: After setting a "human steaming" record, Kulim Dou Mu Gong Temple Committee Chairman Zhang Yingcai steamed himself for one last time on invitation from a TV station and successfully, he broke his previous record by steaming himself for 66 minutes.

He then made an announcement that he will never perform the show again.

The TV station contacted Zhang after getting know about the "human steaming" show from a Sin Chew Daily reporter. He received the invitation to perform the show in front of the cameras and hopefully, it could help promoting the temple.

After the temple committee had performed a blessing ceremony at 11pm, Zhang stepped into a huge pot at 11.36pm, the pot was covered with its lid at 11.37pm.

As the show went on, some temple workers continuously added firewood to the fire. Five spiritual mediums conducted a ritual and the shooting team recorded the whole process.

Steam could be seen venting out from the pot after 30 minutes. The crowd kept encouraging Zhang while the workers kept counting time.

Indian Yogi Allegedly Survives Without Food and Water for 70 years

This could be a hoax, a mistake, or bad observation. But if it isn’t, it means that science does not truly understand human beings or our exceptional capacity to remake reality, or perhaps, tap into realities beyond testable comprehension.

From the story:
An 83-year-old Indian holy man who says he has spent seven decades without food or water has astounded a team of military doctors who studied him during a two-week observation period. Prahlad Jani spent a fortnight in a hospital in the western India state of Gujarat under constant surveillance from a team of 30 medics equipped with cameras and closed circuit television. During the period, he neither ate nor drank and did not go to the toilet. “We still do not know how he survives,” neurologist Sudhir Shah told reporters after the end of the experiment. “It is still a mystery what kind of phenomenon this is.”

The doctors’ response, it seems to me, illustrates the shortcomings of the purely scientific approach in these kinds of circumstances:

Man pulls plane with his eyelids

A Chinese martial arts expert pulled an aeroplane for five metres - by a rope hooked to his eyelids.

Dong Changsheng, 50, performed the stunt at the Changchun International Exhibition Centre in Jilin province, reports the City Daily newspaper.

It took him less than a minute to pull the half-a-tonne aircraft for five metres.

Dong has been practicing kung fu for nearly 40 years, and has collected numerous awards for his skills.

"I have pulled a car with my eyelids before but this was the first time with an aeroplane," he said.

"To be honest, I didn't use my full strength and I think I could probably pull it three times the distance.

"I have built up the body strength to do this but it would be very dangerous for ordinary people so I don't want anyone to copy me."

Girl Cries Out Crystallic Tears

A 12 years old Lebanese girl cries crystal tears...

Fake? Of course.
Hasnah's crystal tears were debunked by Joe Nickell in a 1997 Skeptical Inquirer article:

Hasnah, who claims to produce up to seven crystals a day, showed a collection of the allegedly apported rocks. From their rhomboidal shape and other properties, I recognized them as the natural quartz crystals generally known as "Herkimer diamonds." With the television crew being expected to arrive here the following day, I hastily made some phone calls and soon had acquired a handful of the gemstones.
Although such stones are indeed sharp - and I could see a dark red spot inside the girl's eyelid that probably represented a wound from one of them - I decided to duplicate the effect. All that was necessary was to pull out the lower eyelid to form a pouch and drop in a small crystal so that it rested, only a bit uncomfortably, out of sight. A tug on the lower lid causes the stone to come into view and then pop out of the eye. This I demonstrated at an appropriate time for the television camera, allowing their reporter to actually do the extraction himself. The effect was indistinguishable from the Lebanese "miracle."

Unexplained Sex Change of Future Monk-to-Be

Backdate: July 2005

Thin Sandar, a chicken seller in Myanmar, had always dreamed of being a man. When she inexplicably grew a male organ last month, the 21-year-old treated it as an awe-inspiring omen as have the thousands of stunned villagers who have travelled to a pagoda to see him. On the morning of the full moon day of June 21, "I noticed my thing (sex organ) was not the same as before,...."

Thin Sandar, who now goes by the male name Than Sein, told AFP in an interview at his home. And my breasts disappeared, Than Sein added. So I called out and showed it all to my mom and dad. It was very strange. Strange enough that he has attracted significant attention in this deeply superstitious country, where the unexplained can quickly be exalted to hold powerful spiritual significance.

People privately concede Than Sein is genderless. Several medical experts have examined him, and he awaits test results from the central women's hospital. But few have come forward with a medical explanation of the transformation as they await an official report by the health ministry, whose experts have also examined Than Sein. We can not say right now if she has really undergone a sudden gender change, said a township official that declined to be named, adding that Than Sein's birth certificate shows that he was born a girl.

Nensha - Thoughtography

By Chris Capps

This holiday season when you’re posing for a photograph with the family, perhaps you should make an attempt to take a couple of pictures outside of the camera. Think it’s impossible? The photograph at left was taken in a closed room without windows. Though the street, and cars within were never identified, they were certainly nowhere near the institute where the photograph was taken.

To place your thoughts onto film is called “Nensha,” or “Thoughtography.” Of course though the concept has been around since 1913 it is still little known in most paranormal circles. Some will recognize the phenomenon from the movie “The Ring,” but few know it actually has happened several times throughout recent history.

Picture is (C) copyright to unexplainable.net

Quite literally Nensha means “spirit photography,” which is an interesting divide between Eastern and Western parapsychologists. Tomokichi Fukurai is the first documented scientist to attempt to capture Nensha in a controlled environment. His subject was a well known clairvoyant named Chizuko Mifune.

Unfortunately, their experiments were highly controversial and Mifune was thought by skeptics to be a charlatan. Despite this, one public experiment they had performed involved Mifune reading letters written within envelopes before astonished audiences. Later, Mifune’s experiments would be retold as legend in the Japanese horror film “Ringu” which would recast her abilities in a much different light.
