Tampines Potianak account by biker

True or Fake you decide

( a story by author who do not want to be disclosed)

It was  a usual night out, I was  with my girlfriend & when she out of a sudden complained that she is not feeling well . Being the gentleman I send her home.

She was staying in Tampines and I therefore had the choice of either using the TPE (Tampines Expressway) or to cut though the Old Tampines Rd. As  it was pretty  late already, I went by  TPE.

we reached her place soon, I chatted with her parents for a while and left for home soon after. I had to decide on which route to take again. as  I was tired and hungry, therefore I decided to take the Old Tampines Rd, as it was a shorter route & it  near to Hougang where there are coffee place which i can take some snacks.

Half way through, I was beginning to feel like something is sitting behind me. It seems that My bike was heavier by the second and no matter how hard I turned the throttle, the 200cc bike could not go faster. I was running on full tank.

I felt a spooked. I sensed something  behind me and I felt something brushing on my neck. Come to think of it, it actually felt like hair! Well, I couldn’t sustain my curiosity and quickly turned my head to see what’s (or who’s) bothering me.

I had the shock of life. I saw someone, or something. I assumed it was a lady, in white, with long hair. MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!… IT’S A PONTIANAK!!

She was sitting on my bike, the “kampong” style, i.e. Her legs were not across the seat but instead she was seating on the side, her legs together and facing my right direction. Thank god I didn’t get to see her face!

I didn’t spend too much time “admiring” her. In the split second, I looked back in front and focused on the road. Kept praying to myself… Please GOD help me!!

Soon I reached the main road, thank God. I sped all the way home. One piece of advise for all bikers out there, NEVER take the Old Tampines Rd at night. Never!

The Dooms Day Dream of ShiJie

How Dooms Day will strike in my dream of 21st Dec 2012 night time
Since the 20th of December, my friends and I were on the group chat (whatsapp) , chatting and joking about December 21st, the so called Dooms day as per the Mayan calendar. we talk , chat , joke, poke fun, talk rubbish etc... on this topic all the way till december 21st evening time itself.

then during the night of december 21st itself when I was sleeping, a dream came upon me on how will dooms day strike upon us.

Just like what Nostradamus, mention about a calm morning in the prediction of PSY's Gangnam Style, similarly Dooms day in my dream also occur on a very usual calm morning just like any other normal days.

But again just when you thought that it is just any other normal usual days , you are wrong.
indeed it appear like any other usual normal day but suddenly humans began to gather around down the streets in crowds and as a matter of time it broke up into a gang fight and riots downs the streets and roads all over the place.

this lead into us humans killing one another

Weird Coincidences of Vampire Crabs

Contributed by :  Chan ShiJie

  Weird Coincidences

Why are Vampire Crabs called as Vampires ? Please be ensured of one thing, although they are called as vampires, they do not suck blood. Since that is the case, why are they called as vampire then ?

One possiblily could be due to their appearance.
They are one of the most colorific crabs to become available, regularly exhibiting orange, purple, red, yellow and black, and thanks to their red eyes, which become evident at sub-adulthood.

But again, it can also be the coincidence of vampires in our human culture.
First of all, each and every single vampire crabs have a very unique tatoo born with them on their shell, all at the exact same spot & angle of the exact same shape

this shape itself is the symbol for vampires

Next, they are purple in colour. Purple is itself a royal colour in ancient europe. It is the color that only the royals and nobels can wear and none others are allowed to wear.

Typically in european cultures of Count Dracula and other vampire stories, they are usually associated with the royals and nobels. The traditional uniform of Count Dracula does has purple colour as well. It is black on the outside and purple in the inside.

Thirdly , Vampire crabs are night creatures. They are only active at night. They are not active during the day. The way on how vampire crabs stalk and sneak to attack on their preys will only remind you of the way on how vampires prey on their victims in the movies.

Finally, direct sunlight is hurtful towards them

This 4 points itself is a weird coincidences by itself. How can it be so much of a coincidences ?
what do you think ?

"Good Brother" visit at night

by The SAF Regular

I've got a couple of stories to share, some told to me and just a couple that happened to me.

Here's one that was related to me one boring night during outfield.

My platoonmate has a friend, A, who had one of his arms amputated at the elbow, right or left I don't really remember, and it doesn't really matter anyway.

During his NS days, A had a good friend, B, who was his section mate, and they lived pretty close to each other, so A normally got a ride home from B on his motorbike when they booked out together.

One Thursday night, A woke up in the middle of the night, and saw one of the "good brothers" (a spirit) standing over B's bed, staring intently at B.

Freaked out, A covered his head with his blanket and pretended to go to sleep, uneasily waiting for dawn to approach and thaw the freezing chill he felt up his spine.

On Friday, during bookout day,A gets a ride home from B as usual. A had been struggling whether or not to tell B about what he saw last night, but decided not to. What B didn't know wouldn't hurt him, right?

The entrance/exit to their camp leads to a T junction, where they normally turned right to head home. Approaching the T, A could see a lorry trundling along its way on the right. Strange thing was, B did not slow down.

While executing the turn, they were hit by the lorry. B was killed and A landed in hospital a mangled wreck, where they had to amputate his arm.

A had another friend, C, who visited him in hospital. C's mother was a "dang kee" (a temple medium), and naturally was well informed in matters regarding the spiritual world.

After A told C about the apparition he saw that night, C said "You should have told him. The 'good brother' wasn't trying to harm B. Rather, it was kind of saying 'Hmmm.... This guy would be joining us soon.'. By telling B, you would have broken the premonition."

A chain of events might have been set in motion, where B might not have rode his bike and not gotten into the accident in the end.

But we will never ever know.

My Ghost Hero

Oregon note: The following story has been edited for correctness and clarity.

This is a reader contribution from our reader, Patricia, who can be reached at orchidance3@aol.com

This is an interesting account of how a voice warned Patricia of an hostile intruder. Was it divine intervention or help from the nether world?

I am now 55 years old, mother of 4, and this is an absolutely true story of an event that happened to me fifty years ago at age 15. Due to family problems, I was forced to run away from home and moved from place to place, wherever I could find shelter in my hometown. I did volunteer work for a local community program who eventually purchased an old house for the purpose of making a new community center and health clinic.

Prior to the work being done to renovate it, I was secretly given permission to stay there at night. It was an old house, formerly the home of a man and woman who owned a liquor store on the property next door. The wife of liquor store owner had been killed in a home invasion robbery and consequently the husband sold the property and store as a result. I was too young to know of the incident, or when it occurred, I simply learned of this through rumors.

So each night I would go to the property to sleep, as it had a furnished bedroom and oddly enough i seemed to feel comfortable there. One thing I did notice is that my bedroom always seemed warm and cozy even though it was the dead of winter and the home did not have any heat. The electricity was working because work was about to be started on the building but I also noticed that my bedroom seemed highly illuminated, overly bright.

One night I arrived to bed down accompanied by a friend who offered to stay with me until I was ready to go to sleep. After a short while, my friend left and I started to go to sleep. All of a sudden I heard a frantic voice say "get up and check the door". Being rather sleepy, I dismissed it at the time thinking it was my imagination. I do not know if I heard it with my ears, or in my mind. At which point, the voice became more frantic saying "hurry, hurry, he's getting in, hurry check the doors". This time I sprung from the bed without much thought of where the voice came from and ran down the staircase in total panic and fear.

As if being lead by someone, I ran straight into the kitchen, and to my horror, I saw a hand reaching through a broken window pane, attempting to undo a chain latch lock on the inside. Without thinking I reached down on the floor and picked up a piece of metal piping that was left there from renovations being done on the room, and proceeded to beat the hand that was reaching in. I hit it several times before the person managed to pull it out because the window pane was very small and he had difficulty in his panic, removing his hand. I heard the person yell and run off.

As the person passed by a floodlight in the rear parking lot, I recognized him as the only known heroin addict in our town. I had difficulty sleeping that night but eventually I was overcome by the warmth of my room and a feeling of comfort and safety and drifted off to sleep. I did not believe in ghosts but I have no other explanation for the woman's voice that franticly urged me on. I think she it was the wife of the liquor store owner and did not want what happened to her to happen to me. I just know that I will be forever grateful to whoever or whatever it was.

Vietnamese New Year (Tết Nguyên Đán)

Lunar New Year Typically and commonly known by most people as the Chinese Calendar. The Chinese New Year is based on the Lunar Calendar.

Those who celebrate this New Year is definately just the Chinese alone. Among those who celebrate this same festival alongside with the Chinese are the Koreans, Vietnamese, Mongolians and Tibetians.

In fact the Japanese before World War 2, celebrated the exact same new year as the Chinese as well. But since plans of invasion, they had somewhat stopped celebrating this festival and instead had their own new year shifted to be on January 1st have it to be the same as the Western New Year, to be the same as the Western calendar or the so called Gregorian calendar.

The Lunar New Year are known as the following by the different groups of people
1) Chinese New Year – 春節 (Pinyin: Chūnjié)
 2) Koreans NewYear – Seollal (Hangul: 설날; RR: Seollal; MR: Sŏllal)
 3) Vietnamese New Year – Tết Nguyên Đán
 4) Mongolian New Year – Tsagaan Sar (Mongolian: Цагаан сар ᠴᠠᠭᠠᠨ ᠰᠠᠷᠠ )
 5) Tibetan New Year – Losar (Tibetan: ལོ་གསརWylie: lo-gsar; Chinese: 洛薩)
6) Japanese New Year – Shōgatsu (正月)

Vietnamese New Year (Tết Nguyên Đán)

Vietnamese New Year does shares much similiarities with Chinese new year as they share too much with that of the Chinese. But however, they do have some elements of their own versions with slight differences. While Chinese New Year is 15 days of Celebration and if to include the eve, it will be a 16 days of celebration, Vietnamese new year on the other hand is also a 15 days of celebrations and if to include in the eve and before eve, it will be a 19 days of celebrations.

There are 3 part of it. Before the Eve, the Eve itself and then New Year 19 Days of New Year The below will be on what it is like on the 15 days of new year.

Before eve : .Ông Công, Ông Táo Day (Kitchen God day)
Before Eve : Wrapping Chung cake
Before Eve : Family reunion and Tất niên Eve ( Giao thừa) : Decorations, Be Debt Free, Cooking Traditional Food and Shopping all neccessarities ( including praying sessions to God and Ancestors )

Day 1-3 : First three days of the new year: visit paternal side on the first day, maternal side on the second day and teachers on the third day

Day 4-6 : Visit relatives, friends and neighbours Day 4 : Hóa vàng - burn the offerings near Tet's end for ancestors

Day ??: Reopen business: usually owners pick a good date that matches their age

Day 15 : Tết Nguyên Tiêu – Latern Festival also known as Valentine's Day

During the Celebration of Tết Nguyên Đán Pretty much similiar and alike to the Chinese in many ways, Vietnamese also believe in being Debt free before the new year and having spring cleaning. Family reunion dinners and gathering are also another similiarity.

Whatever that can change to something new should be changed such as old furnitures etc.... It is also very important to wear total new clothes on the beginning of the new year just like the Chinese.

Clothes of Bright colours such as Yellow and Red is to be worn. No dull ,dark, unlucky colours are to be worn on this day of new year

Photobucket

During visiting on Lunar new year, for the Chinese, the elder and married would give away Red Envolpes / Packets ( Hong Baos) to the Children and those who are single as a form of blessing and to ward off bad luck with some money inside

To the Vietnamese, it is known as Lì Xì or lucky money

Do also take note that the amount of money given must only be in even numbers and cannot be in odd numbers. Nice words of wishes and blessing will be said to each other on this day and it is a time of lots of fun and gathering with much eating and drinking

Would You Believe Jesus had a Chinese Brother name Hong Xiu Quan ( 洪秀全 ) ?

The Bible

Photobucket

In the bible, God send his son down to earth as a human and this child's name is known as Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus was send to sacrifice himself by using his own blood to wash away our sins. It was through Jesus that we, the foolish mortals came to learn of god and his love

Photobucket

In the Bible, Jesus, was the Son of God but to the Muslims in their Quran (Koran) , Jesus was only but just a mere prophet, a human only and definitely not the son of god. Conflicts But the conflicts in the statement does not ends there! This is another that much of us has left out. God has another son! One which he had send during the times of the Romans which was mentioned earlier as Lord Jesus Christ but god had made his plan to send down his second son down several years later down to China during the era of China's Qing Dynasty

Hong Xiu Quan ( 洪秀全 )
Photobucket

This man was none other than Hong XiuQuan whose lifespan was from 1 January 1814 – 1 June 1864. It was god's plan , his destiny to fulfil his mission in China which was to establish a Heavenly Kingdom in China and this Kingdom did ever once established itself in China. It was known as the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom which lasted between 1851–1864.

Photobucket
XiuQuan was born in a Hakka Family in Canton Province. Since Young he had great pressures from his family member where his studies is of concerned. He had made a total of 4 attempts in the civil service examinations and he failed all. During his 3rd attempt, he had suffered a very serious nervous breakdown. Upon his recovery, he had numerous mystical visions which he could not comprehend and set him into serious thoughts of what his dreams was about His Dreams In his dream first dream, there was an old man who complained to him about men worshipping demons rather than him. In his second dream, he saw Confucius being punished for his faithlessness, after which he repented.

Photobucket

In his third dream, he dreamt of angels carrying him to heaven, where he met a man in a black dragon robe with a long golden beard who gave him a sword and a magic seal, and told him to purge China of demons.

Photobucket
He came to know and learn about the bible and after his fourth attempt in the civil service examination, He had became a Christan. It was then that he had already by then understood and comprehend what was his dreams about. It had mean that God the Heavenly Father, whom he identified with Shangdi from Chinese tradition, wanted him to rid the world of demon worship. According to his friends and family, after this episode he had became authoritative, solemn and taller in height as compared to past

Singapore Marina Barrage Has Feng Shui

Contributed by : Chan ShiJie (陈世杰)

Photobucket

Feng Shui is the Number 9

Photobucket

However, the barrage is built according to Feng Shui design just like the Marina Bay Sands, Suntec City and many other more.

The Feng Shui of it is built to resemble the number 9

The number 9 according to the Chinese as well as to many other religions is definitely a good number, an auspicious number.

To the Chinese

In Feng Shui, nine sections are cordoned off by agricultural land owners; eight sections of land are cultivated, but the ninth section (in the center of the agricultural blueprint) is classified as "god's acre" and is devoted to honor the supreme and sacred.

9 is a jackpot of celestial forces to the Chinese. It means completion and satisfaction. It is a representation of high celestial congruence standard. 9 in the Chinese zodiac is the symbol of the Monkey and the Feng Shui direction is West/Southwest.

The number 9 also symbolizes harmony. In addition, the number 9 is a word for "long lasting" (久), and is often used in weddings. Nine is a sacred number; three multiplied by itself to give eternity, completion and fulfillment.

Chinese Feng Shui of the Marina Barrage

This article is by Master Tan Koon Yong of Wayonnet:

Photobucket

On 23 December 2008, two days before the arrival of Christmas, the Singapore Flyer came to a halt for the third time since it became operational in February. In this unexpected incident, 173 people were trapped in the world’s largest observation wheel for about 6 hours. The cease of operation of the Flyer not only dampened the spirits of those who had planned to visit the attraction on the Christmas or New Year’s Day, it also affected the business of the shops, causing them to suffer huge losses due to the decrease in the number of visitors. After more than a month of waiting, the Flyer finally re-opened on 26 January 2009.

Photobucket

Two months later, another misfortune occurred at Marina Bay. The iconic Merlion statue was struck by lightning on 28 February 2009, a date that is still fresh in the memories of many people. This shocking accident occurred around 4.30pm and caused the 36-year-old statue to lose a part of its top mane. Many Feng Shui masters commented that this incident will bring wealth but Grand Master Tan disagrees. In his opinion, Singapore might experience further difficulties on the economic front.

Photobucket

Within such a short time span, the two important tourist attractions of Singapore encountered mishaps. Coincidentally, both accidents occurred after the Marina Barrage was completed. Is there any connection between these events?

According to Grand Master Tan, Singapore is a “Dragon Land” and the Marina Bay area resembles a “Dragon Head” from the top. The region around Benjamin Sheares Bridge alludes to the whiskers of the “Dragon”, forming a unique Feng Shui formation of “Mighty Dragon Emerging from the Ocean”. However, due to the completion of the Marina Barrage, it may be regarded that the mouth of the “Mighty Dragon” is being sealed, resulting in “static” reservoir water bodies as opposed to the original “live” water bodies. The sealed mouth has caused the qi of the area to be suppressed within the reservoir, thus causing the occurrence of the various unfortunate incidents.

Photobucket

In Grand Master’s opinion, he suggests that Marina Barrage builds a water-jet at the mouth of the reservoir. During his trip to Switzerland, Grand Master went to the Jet d’Eau in Geneva, which is one of the largest fountains in the world. He observed the magnificent scene of the powerful water-jet, and deeply feels that Singapore’s Marina Barrage will need a water-jet like that of Geneva’s. With a huge water-jet at the mouth of the reservoir at Marina Barrage, the powerful movement of the fountain would be able to reverse the luck of Singapore by turning “static” water bodies into “live” water bodies. The water-jet will not only solve the Feng Shui problems of Singapore, it will also become another eye-catching scene for those on board the Singapore Flyer.

Photobucket

9 for the Marina Barrage Means

Photobucket

Hence, by building this barrage to resemble the number 9, it is to suppose to symbolize the longevity of the nation of Singapore and ever long lasting to the wealth of a prosperous Singapore. Don't forget after all that water is money! Wealth, money and income or finance is being represented by water according to the Chinese where Feng Shui is of concern.

So, is the Singapore Marina Barrage design and architecture which is being build and base according to Feng Shui done correct or wrong?

That, I will leave the conclusion to you.

Possible UFO spotted in Singapore

by Joan Seth

One of our readers, who has chosen to go by the anonymous name of SpidermanX, has sent us an photograph, which he claimed to be an UFO.

At first glance, it seems to be an UFO in the air. This photograph was said to be taken from SpidermanX's office.

It does seem to be from a office building in the city area of Singapore. We have circled the object in red for our readers to identify it easier.

Our team members are undecided upon the authenticity of this photograph. Our IT specialist uses photoshop to manipulate the photograph.

First, he adjusts the contrast. Thus, it seems that this UFO is part of the background of the sky in the photograph, not edited into it.

Next, he sharpens the colors and image. This is the result. The UFO seems to be in a grayish color.

Lastly. he zooms in and enlarges the photograph. This is the enlargement of the UFO.

Does it look authentic to you?

Firstly, although it does seem to be a real object, it can easily be a aircraft. This is a common mistaken identity in spotting UFOs.

Secondly, it could also be a meteor logical effect, either a cloud, shooting star or meteor. Although these are quite uncommon in Singapore, it is still a possibility.

Thirdly, we can conclude that the photograph is real, but no matter what, photoshop editing is still very possible. Furthermore the reader did not divulge his name nor any more details of this photograph he took, thus leading us to believe it could be a faked.

Finally, Team Asia Paranormal decides that this photograph is inconclusive.

Dear Readers, please form your own conclusions. We hope to hear from you.

During this 3 days of festival, Blessings is being received by splashing water at each other. Besides Splashing of water at each other like nobody's business, there are interesting activities that can be taken part such as dragon boat matches , a lot of Singing and Dancing as well. A very merry making festival indeed.

The 3 days of celebrations is very rich and experiencing. It more than just about receiving blessings by splashing water or just mere merry making alone. It is also at the same time about romance as well too !

Water Festvial China 03

Myanmar/Burma

Water Festvial Myanma Burma 01

Local belles have been rehearsing for weeks and even years, in the run-up to the great event in song and dance in chorus lines, each band of girls uniformly dressed in colourful tops and skirts and garlanded in flowers and tinsel. They wear fragrant thanaka - a paste of the ground bark of Murraya paniculata which acts as both sunblock and astringent - on their faces, and sweet-scented yellow padauk blossoms in their hair. The padauk (Pterocarpus macrocarpus) blooms but one day each year during Thingyan and is popularly known as the "Thingyan flower".

Large crowds of revelers, on foot, bicycles and motorbikes, and in open top jeeps and trucks, will do the rounds of all the mandats, some making their own music and most of the womenfolk wearing thanaka and padauk. Floats, gaily decorated and lit up, also with festive names and carrying an orchestra as well as dozens of amorous young men on each of them, will roam the streets stopping at every mandat exchanging songs specially written for the festival including the Thingyan classics that everyone knows, and performing than gyat

It is indeed a time for letting go, a major safety valve for stress and simmering discontent. Generally however friendliness and goodwill prevail along with some boisterous jollity.

Water Festvial Myanma Burma 04

Thailand

Water Festvial Thailand 03

Typically, the water festival is known as Songkran in Thailand. People will roam the streets with containers of water or water guns or post themselves at the side of roads with a garden hose and drench each other and passersby. However, the main activity is more than just this. It is also about visiting and pay respects to elders, including family members, friends, neighbors, and monks.

Water Festvial Thailand 02

Laos

Water Festvial Laos 01

Lao New Year is the most widely celebrated festival in Laos. The festival is also celebrated by Laotians in the USA, Canada, France, and Australia. Lao New Year takes place in April, the hottest time of the year in Laos, which is also the start of the monsoon season. Lao New Year takes place at roughly the same time as Songkran in Thailand and Chaul Chnam Thmey in Cambodia.

Water Festvial Laos 02

The official festival lasts for three days from April 13th to April 15th (although celebrations can last more than a week in towns like Luang Prabang). The first day is the last day of the old year. Houses and villages are properly cleaned on the first day. Perfume, water and flowers are also prepared for the Lao New Year. The second day of the festival is the "day of no day", a day that falls in neither the old year or the new year. The last day of the festival marks the start of the new year

Water
Pi Mai celebration, flour throwing
Water is used for washing homes, Buddha images, monks, and soaking friends and passers-by. Students first respectfully pour water on their elders, then monks for blessings of long life and peace, and last of all they throw water at each other. The water is perfumed with flowers or natural perfumes. Some people prefer flowers in the water to give a pleasant smell, as well as adding cologne/perfume. . Over the years another tradition has developed with Lao New Year: people will smear or throw cream (shaving cream or whipped cream) or white powder on each other during the celebrations.

Cambodia

Water Festvial Cambodia 05

The Cambodia Water Festival or ‘Bon Om Tuk’ in Khmer is the largest festival in the Cambodian calendar and an amazing sight to behold! The 3-day Water Festival in Phnom Penh is of great significance as it celebrates the end of the rainy season, the start of the fishing season, and also the unique natural phenomenon - the flow of the Tonle Sap river changing direction! And not only this, the Cambodia Water Festival also coincides with the full moon of the Buddhist calendar month of Kadeuk, this full moon is traditionally a good omen promising a bountiful harvest.

Water Festvial Cambodia 04

There is often a parallel festival at Angkor Wat and although it is smaller in scale it is just as impressive due to the backdrop of Angkor Wat.

The festival marks the changing of the flow of the Tonle Sap River and is also seen as thanksgiving to the Mekong River for providing the country with fertile land and abundant fish. It is at this time when the river flow reverts to its normal down-stream direction. In a remarkable phenomenon, the Tonle Sap River earlier reverses its course as the rainy season progresses, with the river flowing "upstream" to Tonle Sap Lake. Then as the rainy season tapers off, the river changes direction once again as the swollen Tonle Sap Lake begins to empty back into the Mekong River, leaving behind vast quantities of fish.

Singapore

Water Festvial Singapore 02

With the objective of bringing the young people together, Singapore in the very recent years came up with their very own water festival uniquely, Singapore !

This Water Festival is known be as the : Singapore International Water Festival (SIWF) acting as a platform to bring the young together and to celebrate her achievements in the world of water since the year of 2009.

Ghosts in Thai folklore

Master Oregon note: The following story has been edited for correctness and clarity.

This is a reader contribution from our reader, Spencer, who can be reached at sakyant@windowslive.com

We at Asia Paranormal thank him for contributing this interesting article about ghostly folklore in Thailand

The word 'Phii' means Ghost, in Thai. In Thailand's Folklore there are many different kinds of Phii, some of them National legends, and others local incidents which left people baffled, such as the case of a whole village that was afflicted with people being found dead with no liver or innards, but no visible perforations or cuts to the skin having been made.

Some Ghost stories turn out to be hoaxes or have a scientific explanation, but Thailand still has some very strange events and phenomena which occur, leaving no apparent explanation other than the Supernatural. Perhaps the fact that the mass-mind of the Thai people is still completely accepting of the idea of Ghosts and magic, that reality is affected by the mass consciousness. I mean to say that in a country where the Nation believes in Magic, Magic is thus real, whereas in a country where Magic is not believed in by the majority, then Magic has no effect. The Buddha said that there is nothing which does not arise from Mind. Is reality affected by what we believe? From the Buddha's point of view, at least our own reality is affected.

Phii Nang Dtakian

Nang Dtakian is a common ghost in the Pantheon of Thai ghosts. She inhabits the Dtakian tree as a spirit. The area of forest around where the Nang Dtakian is dwelling, is always clean and tidy with no under brush, as if someone were sweeping the area regularly. Nang Dtakian is normally attractive in appearance, with long hair worn to one side, and a pretty face with slender figure. She wears traditional Pha Tung skirt. Many witnesses have said she dresses just like a forest maiden dresses. Phii Nang Dtakian is quite worried about and protective of her dwelling place, and will become angry and run amok if anyone disturbs her place in the forest.

Because of the spirit of Nang Mai Dtakian dwelling within the Dtakian tree, when a tree is to be used for building a house or a boat, a ceremony must be made to ask permission from Nang Dtakian first. Once the tree has been converted into something else, the ghost spirit of Mai Dtakian will be converted into a spirit of a different kind, depending on what the tree has been used for; In the case of a boat for example, the Nang Dtakian would mutate and become a 'Mae Yaa Nang Ruea' spirit.

Phii Bporb

Phii Bporb is a ghost of a person who has practiced Wicha Akom Saiyasart (occult magic), who has developed strong powers, but used them from harming other beings with or making black magic spells, such a making 'Ya Faed', making destructive harmful spells with Yant Hnang Kway (buffalo skin Yant magic), chanting nails into someone's stomach, calling up other spirits and binding them to inhabit other objects or people (i.e. Gumarn Tong. From the point of view of Buddhism, these practices are forbidden.

The Lord Buddha stated that such practices are 'Dierachana Wicha' (animal sciences/occult arts), and that anyone practicing them should take great care in not transgressing the rules of practice and ceremony. To break these rules is called 'Kalam' (Isan term), or 'Phid Kroo' (offending the Kroo/Master of the Wicha). In such a case, the spirit of the Boroma Kroo (Master Guru of the Wicha) will punish the practitioner by cursing him/her to become a Phii Bporb.

Even if the Boroma Kroo did not punish, any practitioner who uses the Dierachan Wicha arts to harm others will at some point find that the magic they sent out begins to come back on them and eat them up until finally, they also become a Phii Bporb, just as if the Boroma Kroo had cast the spell on them. Phii Bporb is split into various types;

Bporb Tammada (normal Bporb)- Bporb Tammada means someone who is not possessed by, rather him or herself is a Bporb. This kind of Bporb dies when the person dies.
Bporb Chuea - Bporb Chuea means that when a family whose Mother and Father are Phii Bporb, and the parents die, then the descendants of that family will also become Phii Bporb, regardless of if they are willing to become Phii Bporb, or not. This kind of Bporb has no ending to its lineage.

Bporb Bplaeg Hnaa - 'Bplaeg Hnaa' means 'Stranger face' This kind of Bporb is very naughty and likes to make trouble getting other s in trouble for things they have not done or don't even know about. When Bporb Bplaeg Hnaa enters a person and possesses them, the Bporb will start to cause trouble, and when questioned if someone has forced them to do it or who is the culprit, the Phii Bporb will not tell the truth, and indicate innocent people to take the blame instead.

Bporb Gag Geug – Bporb Gag Geug (Isan word),is a Bporb that refuses to speak at all. This usuallyt results in the relatives taking the afflicted person to a Hmor Phii and ask the Hmor Phii to exorcise the Phii Bporb. Seeing the Hmor Phii begin his ritual, will cause the Phii Bporb to finally speak, admitting that it is a Bporb, and sometimes even telling where it came from and whop sent it. (in the case of a black magic spell or curse being laid on the afflicted person). This kind of direct possession by a Phii Bporb is called 'Bporb Khao' (meaning 'Bporb enters').

Nang Dtanii

Nang Dtanii is a female ghost just like Nang Dtakian, who inhabits a banana tree of the Dtanii variety. In order for the ghost to be able to inhabit a Dtanii tree, the tree must be of a special kind called 'Dtanii Dtaay Prai', which is a Dtanii tree which dies when it blooms its first flowers. Nang Dtanii is also beautiful in appearance just like Nang Dtakian, with green robes with a 'Jong Graben' cloth just like ancient Thai folk used to wear. She likes to lure men into her domain and seduce them. She has a very vengeful disposition and also very jealous, so that if a man who has been with Nang Dtanii should go with another woman, the Nang Dtanii will hunt the man down and break his neck bone.

A teacher's ghost

Master Oregon note: The following story has been edited for correctness and clarity.

This is a reader contribution from our reader, Ralph, who can be reached at psycho_alchemist@yahoo.com

This is my second experience. I was eating my lunch in the canteen and I saw a strange woman dressing teacher's uniform.

I said to her, "Good Morning Ma'am," but she doesn't reply.

She was walking and smiling while her eyes were looking at the floor.

When I finished eating, I decided to go to the library and review my homework.

While reading, I saw the same woman in the window, smiling while looking down.

She's a little bit cloudy. I was terrified when I realized that I was on the third floor. That meant the woman was floating outside the window in mid air!

I informed my guidance counselor in his office. He said I was hallucinating and influenced by horror movies. However, my math teacher said that he also experienced it before.

He said, "She was a teacher who committed suicide in the 70's because of relationship problems."

8/11/11 Gulf Tsunami

Master Oregon note: The following story has been edited for correctness and clarity.

This is a reader contribution from our reader, Jay Essex, who can be reached at unclejay2010@live.com

Hey folks. I wanted to add a couple things to my message about the 8/11/11 Gulf Tsunami. First, this is not the end of the world coming. Everyone is leaving no later than 2266. 2135 is when the Earth starts kicking up a lot of dust. Gaia is evolving too. She's Planetary Essence. There will be 34 thousand dead or missing in the U.S. and a million or more world wide.

This is not about me. I simply am. You're receiving this from me because you need your initial proof that I am in constant communication with the Creator, both Mother and Father.

This is all about you and your evolution. Negativity is being taken out of the picture slowly but surely. That's why they're freaking out taking over most of the Middle East and where ever else they can dominate. I'm leaving in late 2018. There are 4 more planets left to deal with. When I go the majority, almost all, of the truly dark stuff on this planet will be taken away and kept from returning.

The Earthen Human bodies are going to be returning to the original 12 strand DNA format that I brought when I first came here. Myself and the other 4 Adams and Five Eves have had to come here 5 times. We won't need to come again. Your Souls are evolving also. The Animals, Plants, everything is evolving or being taken out of the equation.

Some of you have said I'm some nut that wants to be noticed and in the public eye. It's my job, again, but I don't look forward to being annoyed. I save animals, have no money and don't care for being rich. I like solitude. I'm moving from the Atlanta area next year.

It's simply time for all you wonderfu Souls to realize who you are and for the Dark Annunaki, some are of the Light, to leave. The family we all have from other planets, that you will see in the sky in massive numbers, are 99.9% our friends. Almost all visiting family here are our brothers and sisters. Let's act civil and not shoot at them when they appear.

Check in with David Wilcock for when they will announce themselves in this manner. I'm not allowed to say, this is his. The physical and metaphysical realms are about to embrace each other. You will all start waking up. This was the whole plan, the Creator's plan. You folks have no idea how very special and gifted you are. I'm going to show you this, and a lot more.

Please feel free to think what you will, and say what you want. Free will is a very important gift and should always be used. Anyone who puts themselves above you, is false and only about themselves over you. Mother and Father Creator put themselves at the same level of importance as they do you. They are incredible parent. They do not want to be worshipped. They do appreaciate your Love and Understanding.

Be Strong. Be Compassionate. Be Free and of Free Will. I'll take care of the darkness. Just go inside yourself and say hello, to you and your Creator. I'll see all of you very soon.

Spiritual Healing in Malaysia

Master Oregon note: The following story has been edited for correctness and clarity.

This is a reader contribution from our reader, Ranjit, who can be reached at ranjitmac@gmail.com

My name is Ranjit and I am a spiritual healer. I am based in Ipoh, Malaysia. I can assist victims of witchcraft, spells, voodo, charms etc. My treatment is purely prayer based with no rituals or mumbo-jumbo. I only HEAL and not HARM anyone by casting any spells or spirits.

Case Study
A family of four sought my help to eradicate a demon that was agonising them for 15 years. The couple could not enjoy a decent sleep for even three hours at a stretch. They were constantly harassed by the demon in their bedroom and this led them to several nervous breakdowns over the years. The lack of sleep over a prolonged period affected their health seriously so much so that the husband had to quit his job (since he was the worst affected). This inevitably led to a fall in their income to sustain the family. Even their two boys (aged 8 and 10) were not spared. Both of them suffered partial blindness together. As a result, they were put on medication with numerous side effects on their health. All this was spiritually induced. They NEVER had any physical problems. They sought help from various witch-doctors, shamans and bomohs but to no avail.

After treating them the first night, the couple slept like babies without any interruptions in their sleep. This bolstered their confidence in my treatment. As I treated them spiritually, I saw clearly the gravity of their problem. The husband's parents were dead set against the marriage and they resorted to witchcraft to break the family apart. All their care and concern were pure drama. Finally, I had to evict the devil from the couple's house and it went straight back to its sender. Now, the husband's parents are in agony. The husband's parents are seeking their son's forgiveness. But it is already too late. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW! The reaping came with compounded interest for doing evil onto others.

Witchcraft is heavily practised by the educated and uneducated alike in South East Asia. To secure promotions in a job, to gain the love of someone, to break-up families, to destroy competition in business are some of the services provided by mediums or bomohs (as they are known in Malaysia). It is a very real thing and only those who have gone through it know its destructive force!

My spiritual treatment for others is relatively simple. Since I am into evicting evil spirits out of people, I will touch the palms of the recipient to find out the status of his/her soul. Two things are achieved by this. I will be able to assess the strength of the soul and find out if there is any other evil attached to the soul. Here is where I apply my 'spiritual knife' creating a 'spiritual incision' into the soul. Everything is laid bare for me to see deep into the soul. This is where my 'salvage operation' begins where I infuse my energy into the soul to awaken it out of its deep slumber and shackles.

Any encumbrances or evil attached will be forced to surface in the open. Hence, the battle begins for the soul between good and evil. Some demons are very hard nuts to crack while others are just pussy cats. After a long drawn out battle with the hard nuts, I will immediately proceed to 'lock' the soul of the recipient from further attacks of the demon/s. Thus, the recipient is on his/her way to healing and liberation from all encumbrances. A lot of energy and patience on the part of the healer comes into play in this aspect. Girl who could communicate with the dead

Master Oregon note: The following story has been edited for correctness and clarity.

This is a reader contribution from our reader, Walter Parks, who can be reached at hparks@cfl.rr.com

My friend Dr. Robert (Bob) Russell said that he knew a girl that could communicate with the dead. I didn’t believe him. He invited me to an “encounter” to prove it.

We went to a very weird old house where a Paranormal Investigative Team was working. The team was led by the girl Amy, about 25 or so. She had another girl and 2 guys about her age as the rest of the team.

They had some pretty sophisticated equipment. Their equipment recorded the event in detail.

The temperature sensing equipment showed significant and rapid temperature drops when the "entities" appeared.

Their electromagnetic sensors recorded the spikes of appearance and higher than normal levels as their presence continued.

Their infra red cameras detected image hot spots that varied in size from small orbs to life size wisps of bright energy.

Their acoustic equipment recorded static "noise" and varying levels of frequency specific hums with their presence.

Amy and one of her other team members, Ted could detect all of this much faster than the other two team members and my friends Bob, Mike and I could.

They could also understand communications when the rest of us could only detect the static noise and hums.

Amy and Ted could also see people when the rest of us only saw varying sizes of orbs and bright un-discernable images.

But Bob, Mike and I saw enough to know that we experienced a real paranormal encounter.

The machine that measured temperature and its rate of change proved to be most interesting. Amy explained that when “entities” came over into our world that they need energy to materialize. That’s why it gets cold when ghosts, or whatever, come on the scene. They suck up the energy from the room or area so they can come into being.

The more energy that they are able to absorb, the more visible they become.

Mike and I were initially skeptical.

Amy asked if I believed that people had souls. I told her that I was taught to believe that in my southern Baptist upbringing, but I had drifted away as I studied and worked in the physics based aerospace industry.

Amy stared at me for a moment and then the detail explanations began. We discussed the soul, ghosts, paranormal events, parallel universes to the point that we all became believers.

I became so convinced that I set out on a data collecting research project to try to determine the science behind paranormal events. I tried to determine that, if there is a soul, how can it exist and be described scientifically.

I used my findings along with the inspiration from the paranormal encounter to write a film script about the paranormal encounter. This imagined script is included in this book: Paranormal Portal to a Parallel Universe.

Read the book and you will become a believer.

Ghostly figure among the trees

by Joan Seth

This is a user submitted photograph, location and date unknown. At first glance, the picture seems quite ordinary. We are guessing that this is somewhere in Sentosa. The faces of the people in the photograph has been blanked out for privacy reasons.

However, a closer look at the lower left corner reveals something among the trees. A translucent figure can be seen.

Is it a ghost, an animal or photoshop effect? We leave the conclusion to our reader's imaginations.
